So proud of DD

She bought her game today to donate and she is going to do the rebate on it!! So proud of her and I think she will be extra proud of herself when she gets the rebate back! And she and I shared the game coupon I got in the paper yesterday, she bought one game to give a friend and I bought one to gift. So we both got half off!

Well, I dream of Genuardi's, but despite being a Safeway store, it's a small chain around here. So, I'd have to say Acme, which is a MUCH bigger chain around here AND they do double coupons up to $.99 like Genuardi's. Some smokin' deals to be had. I envy those with a Shaws or Albertsons List - wish my Acme was a List, too! While I enjoy TJ's, it would be hard to have a List for since they claim to always have low...

We all read day after day about all of the amazing stores all around the country! Not to mention the marvelous deals we score at these stores! If you could have one store (list or non-list) in your area that you do not have....which one would it be? I'd have to say I'd love a Trader Joe's in my area, I've always heard great things about them and went to my first one back in March when I was in Atlanta. I absolutely loved...

Budget update- Starting monthly budget: $370 (less $70 for biweekly local produce delivery) Week 1- $300- 120 = $180 Week 2- $180- 48= $132 Today- DH bought $19 worth of ingredients to make empanadas for everyone- yummy, so worth it!! That means I have $113 left for the month. Totally doable, since we aren't doing Thanksgiving meal here, I don't need to buy anything for the meal. Which means, my extra $100 that I reduced the budget...

hee hee--you are forgiven. Say Tanksmom's list of this weekend's redplum coupons five times. I hate going out w/o lists and never go out w/o coupons--I only carry a little wallet but it's always with me.

The goodwill that i shop at gets new stuff in daily and rotates out the old stuff to other goodwills in the area. The tags are dated with the date that the item entered the store. Great finds by the way!

Adding in produce, eggs and milk, I am thinking about 4 months, 2 if everyone is home. One of the things I love about TGG is being flexible for what my family looks like and what our needs are on any day.

I am so sorry for the unexpected stress. Its stories like this that keep us from getting cell phones. It will work out..................Jaiden doesnt need half a store for her Christmas, it doesnt take much to make her happy, she will be most interested in the lights, music and all the festivities. I am glad you have that stockpile!
