Quote: About Graf: I can settle this by asking in the admiration thread and tell you the name of the user after we found an agreement, but as I said earlier ( http://www.tennisforum.com/showpost....6&postcount=20 ) I'd like to await the definite decision regarding subforums/homebase threads. When the decision is made I will become active as soon as possible. I understand Selescao. I wish I had a definite answer. The mod of the...

1981 has always aroused much interest because it was relatively close at the top between three players although most of the controversy imo came from the three players involved wqho all thought they had a case for the position.
On the whole the correspondents of the day were in no doubt as to who the actual #1 was.
Is it your intention, P/F, to do an actual project or just discuss the ...

Chances are that if you were to do away with the sub-forums of (mostly) relatively recently retired players and have threads about them in the 'proper' Blast From The Past forum that it would benefit BFTP as a whole. Fans of the older players may also start contributing a bit to the, say, Hingis and Capriati threads and fans of these players who are on ...

Added some results from late 1955.
Also note that I've posted the entire finals history of the Tri-Statr event (from 1899 to present) in the tournament thread.

I don't think that 1974-78 WTT match results are available online. I had provided some information for geocities page on extinct sports leagues run by Steve Dimitry. That site includes team standings and individual player statistics by event/category.
The only source for individual WTT match results that I can recall is World Tennis magazine. From 1974-78 the magazine printed WTT match...

Ah, love. Again. Again, and again. I started following Chrissie Evert romances when I was about 13 (I'm 48 now). Guess its too late to give it up now!
I'm still hoping against a wedding...or at least a very long engagement!

Hi Rollo and others.
Happy to be labeled a results nerd !!
In terms of the name list, I have been keeping a database - about 6,000 women from the beginning to 1961, 20,00 from 1975 to 2008. Name, country and first year played. (Working on 1962 now.) I'm sure there all sorts of mistakes, redundancies and confusions, and I haven't been updating it with the recent additions to the ...
