the Norstar max's out at 224 stations of that only a max of 192 stations could be acquired with ASM's you would have to get ATA's for the additional ... you could network 2 MICS one with XS software together to get what you are looking for with a T1/PRI between them then ASM's to handel the analog sets, wake up calls and the hotel package use would require that there be a 73XX phone on the reception desk for each system...

Weekly Stay and a MICS...

I was planning on using rom 6.0 to maybe 7.1. Any other suggestions. I would like to stay with Nortel.  What other platform would you suggest.  If I have to learn it I would like it to be easy for me to learn so I can get this in.  I can always learn a new project on the fly. I have worked on Partner and Merlins before.

Has anyone used an Oaisys Recording over with a T1 PRI?  If so, did you have to use a T1 card in the PC or were you able to monitor everything from the set side? Thanks, Wayne

thanks, hawks.  i think i've got enough add'l info now to hopefully figure out what's going on there.  worse case i'll tell them we're pulling out the opx ckt and they can dial like every other location does.  we really don't support opx ckts at our locations anyway.

Does anybody know if an MS-PEC III card from a BCM will work in a NAM? I've got a dead BCM and a customer who needs to upgrade the voice channels on their NAM from 8 to 16. This would work out nicely. Thanks for your help.

A Weekly / Monthly Stay wants me to replace their old PBX. They only want bare bones no VM for the residents but probably AA for when the front desk is gone. I was thinking of trying to save them money by keeping their old analog 2500 sets but I would have to expand the MICS to hold 230 sets by using an ASM module. Can I install that many ASM's to handle all these sets? If so what config. ...

We have EnGenius DuraFon4X on MICS 4.1 and ATA2. We can transfer calls to the cordless, everything seems to work fine. We can't seem to access features. We key Flash *<code> , but all that we get is either dialtone or busy. ATA timer setting is default 7, setting is same on Flash timer for EnGenius. We would just like to be able to pickup parked calls. Any thoughts? Thank you, Bill

Hey guys, really stupid question, especially concidering I have been working on theese things for 10 years, but I'v never had to do this.... What is the procedure to remove 2 12x0's off of a MICS system 4.1 with a PRI without trashing all of the programming. I yanked a fiber card once, and had to re-program the entire system.... That sucked big time.... Thanks!

Working on a new site and was adding an Interrupt VM button on a 7310. The feature works but usually the button will flash fast when the greeting is playing and then slow when recording the conversation. I can;t get the button indicator to display at all but the feature will work just fine.

Customer has a 6x16 DR? All was working fine including exernal autodial with pauses to enter LD access codes. Then the power went out after the weekend and the system lost it's programming. Only 5 sets, so no big deal. The GM has a M7310 which had keys programmed with external #s followed by a pause (stopwatch) and then the LD access code. When I try to reprogramm the keys, I use Feature ...

A certain extension(x202) in the system intermitently - yet quite often - gets calls from other extensions on internal calls. This has been going on since I replaced the system last July. x262 just called x256 and within four rings was connected to x202. This is not an FNA or Answer DN issue. I have checked and rechecked the 'logical' programming that could make this happen. Not to mention it ...

My company has a MICS 5.0 and CP 100/150 system. Awhile back the system crashed and reset all the configuration settings when it came back up. We replaced the main unit after some strange quirks were happening on the old one.
