TTY question configuration

I would just change TTY 1 to be 9600 in programming, so it matches the "DIP Switches" you see on the SSC Card (which defines TTY 0) This assumes you have a "small" system or Option 11 © GHTROUT.com   ⇔  Resources for Nortel Meridian/CS1000 System Administrators - You Can Hire Me Too

Not sure what those TNs are - none are the 8901 thru 8903 anyway I also think what you are talking about is FDN (forward no answer) not Hunt (forward on busy). if you are hearing ring that is not a hunt condition. you can hunt to many locations but can only FDN to 2 and after 1 second set needs SFA in CLS (second forward allowed) So in short, 8901 could Hunt to 8902 which could hunt to 8903 which could hunt to voice mail but if 8901 rang no...

Configuring Virtual Office phone
Published (2009-11-10 12:49:00)
Without the patch, you just need a valid node/TN.  There doesn't actually have to be a physical phone at the remote location. I have a TN programmed at each of my sites that I use for troubleshooting.  If a user says they cannot dial certain numbers, for instance. From my desk phone, I log into the TN that I have set up for troubleshooting at that particular office.  There is not a...

The 4 LED's at the bottom will be for the 4 expansion cabinets and it sounds as if you have one cabinet in use for slots 21 to 30 (2 Green) and another one which isn't connected for slots 41 to 50 (4 Red). Do you have a Meridian Option 11c or Succession 1000M system with 2 expansion cabinets?. Configuring Virtual Office phone

..so without the patch you need to initially enter a valid node/TN in order to have the phone registered. From there, you can do a Virtual Office login. With the patch (and be aware that there are some limitations on it's use), the IP Phone can register against a TN 0-0-0-0. From there, you can do a Virtual Office login.

Mis-dial prevention does not require require a patch in release 5.0 and above. Below is part of the documentation for 5.0 on ESA out of the What's New 5.0 NTP: • Support for the use of Route List Indexes (RLIs) is introduced, whichallows ESA to identify alternate routing for emergency calls, in the event that the standard route is unavailable. VTC - BRI Incoming calls not...
Published (2009-11-05 11:21:00)
I have configured 3BRI ISDN lines on the CS1000 PBX for the VTC equipment. However they are able to make calls out, but no one is able to dial them from outside. There are 3 numbers configured and the VTC was programmed to use 73496 as the main number. We tested using an ISDN phone prior to the equipment being installed, and calls had no problem incoming or outgoing. How would I test this through the PBX for incoming calls? I believe I would...

Hi, CallPilot system types are keycoded. You can't use the same keycode on a 200i or 201i. You will need to get a new keycode from Nortel if you want to change system type. And the recovery procedures are well documented in the NTP's. You need to start in the flash DOS thingy menu. It's the first question the system asks you when it powers up. Marc D.
