Im a notes 8.02 end user within my organisation, altho techy enough to add menu items and the odd script to remove read-receipts  (dont u just hate them...) I can see my notes database size from file, application, properties. Question - are their any utilities available that i can use as an end user to summarise the properties (i.e. size in meg) of the objects within my database. e.g. email folder abcd takes up x meg disk...

You're making a mistake on the functionality. The Sent folder is not a folder, it is a view. A view in Notes lists all documents that correspond to a given criteria defined by design - in the case of the Sent view, it lists all documents that have been sent. Deleting a document from a view effectively deletes it from the database. A folder is a different design functionality. A folder holds all...
