the only way to get rid of split ends sadly is by getting them cut off. buy shampoo that is sulfate free. do a hair mask once a week and a hot oil treatment a couple times a month. don't blow dry it. don't straighten it.

ok well i have a new type of straightener. its called the InStyler. is super cool! i have a lot of hair too and before i had a chi and it took forever to straighten my hair (about an hour) but now that i have this it straightens my hair in about 10-15 minutes!!!=]

Athough i know it is a bad habit, i straighten my hair everyday. It doesn't have to be pin-straight, but i do have to straighten it so that i don't look like an 80's dancer.Because i straighten it so often, it gets dry towards the end of the week.I have heard of putting olive oil in it... does that help?...
