by the way, you've just responded to yourself instead of intended person. This is the result of Microsoft insisting on RETARDED (should use a stronger word here) Web interface. newsgroups are to be handled by a Newsgroup reader, like OE, WinMail, Thunderbird, etc; but by Web. What takes 1 minutes on Usenet Newsgroups, can take 25 minutes on Web, and you never know who you're responding to, will that person bother scrolling down...

Hello C.B.
Give this a tÑy and see if it solves the problem................
As for diskclean up, go to Run, type:
CLEANMGR /SAGESET
Check the files you want it to clean,OR the oposite, once thru, return to
Run, type:
CLEANMGR /SAGERUN
This also works in cmd.

Come back and let everyone here know the results.
Good luck and a Happy Thanksgiving Day

To go from 64 bit back down to 32 bit you need a clean install. In other words
reformat and install it clean(32 bit)

As my daughters said "You would like the movie Dumber & Dumber".
Think they might be right as I can see no Windows 7 news groups.

I know this is not the right place to ask, but ... my provider and my
university have discontinued their usenet newsgroups. I still can access
this group (obviously !) but I need to access groups like sci.math, etc...
Any idea, apart from going web?
TIA

Acer is a cheap, taiwanese C*AP.
If you insist on destroying American jobs and wish to send money China, at
least try Asus or Lenovo.
But better - HP.

OCR programs tend to work closely with the OS. If this is a very old
application, it is probably not compatible with Vista and you will need
an up-to-date OCR program.
