This is the result of Microsoft insisting on RETARDED (should use a stronger word here) Web interface. newsgroups are to be handled by a Newsgroup reader, like OE, WinMail, Thunderbird, etc; but by Web. What takes 1 minutes on Usenet Newsgroups, can take 25 minutes on Web, and you never know who you're responding to, will that person bother scrolling down...
