Blue Screen of Death

Link removed in post #1. I don't consider the portrayal of a BSOD on an unsuspecting public to be a joke. The manufacturer of the so-called game should be ashamed of their actions. Thread closed as the solution has been provided.

Strange after looking into the DUMP it seems that the Drivers that you spotted before are not here. But alas my Problems still here, and I hope the lack of software installed will help narrow it down.

Windows 7 Dual Boot Issues
Published (2009-11-27 07:32:00)
Honestly I dont know why it may have done that. I havent really used it to move a boot loader only to create and delete entries. Maybe you can find some more specific answers here http://neosmart.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7 It may have been just a typo, but with all of the switches involved I would hate to take a guess and get it wrong for you. Good luck and let me know how it goes and if I can try to help more. Pat

I take it you did not make it a dual boot set up? Outlook files are stored in .pst file you will need to reinstall office and move the .pst file to the os > http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...308921033.aspx

The drivers listed in the debugger are only the drivers loaded when that particular module crashed - not all of the drivers on the system. Most times they'll stay the same from memory dump to memory dump - but, there can be differences. You can also get a good look at drivers by using msinfo32.exe. Use either of these commands in the debugger: lmtn (lists the drivers) or lmtsmn (lists the drivers in alphabetical order). I post more...

This is going to sound strange but after I read it , I tried it on a troublesome computer that I had and it worked.
Many if not most computers still have some power on the MB even when turned off so it doesnt totally discharge and its circuits lets call it remember stuff.
Try this.
Turn off the computer.
Unplug from the wall.
Remove battery if a laptop.
Do not remove the coin ...

The first BSOD death refers to the file to be a wireless USB controller (athrxusb.sys). Have you updated the drivers for this device?
Also try memtest , and test the RAM

Not sure what you are trying - are you now trying to apply the 64bit Win 7 Upgrade disc to your Windows7 32bit OS?
To get a clean upgrade you would have to install your old 64bit OS (Vista?) and then use the 64bit Win 7 upgrade disc.

if you click the upgrade, it will upgrade and keep all of you files and programs.
I DO NOT reccomend this though. I had major problems doing this and eventually did a fresh install.
If you click custom install it will erase everything and put a fresh version of 7 on their.
I still have had problems with 7, ex. my front panel usb ports do not work with flash drives on windows 7, and ...

Since installing Windows 7 Home Premium x64 last month I have had several occasions when the machine has crashed with BSOD errors. Usually it is Driver_Power_State_Failure, but twice it was Internal_Power_Error. Each time it was when the machine was on but unattended.
Since this was a clean install over a previous XP system, I am pretty clear what I have installed and I don't think there ...

I would test HDD and RAM...
To test RAM, download memtest86+
http://www.memtest.org/
Leave MemTest86+ to test RAM for few hours...
If you get errors and if you have more than one module,
test modules separately, one-by-one...
Check what make/model is HDD, visit manufacturer's Web Site,
download diagnostic tools and scan your HDD for possible bad sectors...
Keep us ...

Hello,
straight to the point, my Windows 7 64-bits crashes to a BSOD only if my PC has been off for a long time (i.e. when I turn it on in the mornings, after turning it off the previous night).
The crash is interesting: Windows 7 loads perfectly, but when typing my account's password(and pressing ENTER) or before the password-field appears, it crashes to a BSOD.
Once it has crashed ...
