I agree with you on most aspects above Chode ......... and I dont think all unions are a bad thing .............. I have worked with many that were a pure pleasure. I have also worked with some that forced absolute dunkards and druggies down my throat to meet our agreed upon participation level. all that aside .............. Pretty much have to agree with all of your last post. The Big 3 and their employees are going to have to make serious changes in the way they view their relationship. They need to operate as a team, and that means that all the risks and rewards need to be shared equally. That's the real area where American business needs to rethink its business model.

something to consider about electric cars - laptops!!! If you ever owned a laptop, you know how they are always promising x amount of hours between charges. We all know its not true, especially if doing anything that requires alot of computer resources. In addition after about a year, the battery starts losing it charges quicker.
