Doesn't take a genius to figure out you just got spammed Addi........ Check to be sure you have the correct cartridge for your printer, seems strange the bracket was difficult to close if it was the correct cartridge. Also take it our and carefully reinstall again, as the electronics need to line up between the cart. and the contacts inside the printer.

Canon MP620 Does Not Print in Color
Published (2009-11-30 02:13:00)
First of all do the following test: * Turn off your printer. * Disconnect the data (printer/LPT) cable. * Press and hold the load/eject button, and while doing so turn the printer on. * The printer should then print out a test page, using the black and color ink cartridges. If this does not work, then see the expire date of your cartridge. It might be expired.

Canon ip4500 color problem
Published (2009-11-25 02:49:00)
Thank you, inkinawink. The only sliders I can find are "Color Balance", Cyan, Magenta, & Yellow. Moving the Cyan to +45 makes the red tolerable, although the whites have a blue tinge, now. Moving the Magenta in the minus direction, the greens get crazy almost immediately. While I was on that page, I tried switching the "Color Correction" between, Driver Matching, ICM (Windows Image Color...

I just removed the ink cartridges and with a cute tip cleaned up the pipes on the bottom. Now I'm printing as when the printer was brand new!

Hmm, you will need a new printer sooner rather than later.
Try Epson with continuous ink supply if you print a lot.

You won't need to install the cartridges at all, just fill in the ink tank. Much cheaper than buying cartridges

Hi and welcome!
You probably won't be able to get it to work without a driver for it. However, you should be able to locate the drivers for it at:
http://support.lexmark.com/index?pag...gment=DOWNL OAD
I'm trying to get you a direct link, but their site is moving really slow tonight!
Thanks!

Sounds like the printer has failed. If it's under warranty, have it serviced.

Unplug printer
While pressing Menu button, plug power cord back in, this should put the printer into maintenance mode.
Press 76
Press 4
Press black start
The printer should go into a cleaning procedure; it will take quite a while. When procedure is done, unplug printer and plug back in to start normally, and do a test print.

Please insert the disc that came with the printer, open the cd in my computer, right click hp disc then choose explore. Look for a folder named UTIL>CCC> look for a file named Uninstall_L2.bat, double click that file and follow the instructions, please do not restart the computer after uninstallation finished and put a check mark on "restart my computer later". Perform again the Uninstall_L3.bat...

Check the right side and the left side of the inside of the printer where the carriage goes back and forth, use a flash light, just a small bit of paper jammed against either side will cause this to happen. Also check the encoder strip, the carriage runs along (above the chrome bar) be careful it is very fragile, clean with a q-tip and alcohol, front and back gently.

OK. Slightly embarrassed about this - USB cable had come loose from back of printer.
Lesson: Never assume a reason for your PC problem.
Humble apologies, and thanks, to those who wasted their time on this.

Hello,
This seems to be a very common problem with this specific HP printer. There seems to be a firmware update that will help with the feed problems; though I have to admit, I'm not sure how that is possible since the printer itself seems to have a poorly designed paper feed system in itself.
Have a look here:

Your waist ink pad is full (at least that's what Epson says) reset the waist ink counter, and continue printing, in my experience with Epson printers this pad is no where near full with the first service error, but when you get the second one, it will be time to check it.

Unfortunately no. Cannot print text or word documents properly --- they just produce pages of print that resembles the example I gave in my initial post.
Appreciate you asking.
