You can call all off those roughly US500 except for the one from Tigerdirect all those prices don't have tax on them I learn that the hard way from Dell saw some nice prices on the items and when you check it out GCT had not been added as yet and I'm not trying to be difficult the people I know do not use cd/dvd anymore they have lost too many important information that way they now chance their infromation with high capacity jump...

What wears down Lithium batteries is constant charging...

My HP laptop is going strong 5 years now. Battery died the other day, I got a new, longer lasting one. Power cord got shorts, got a new one. Otherwise it's running smoothly. My dad's as well - only problem with his are vertical lines showing up on the screen, and a dead DVD drive (replaced by an external drive).

A family member purchased a DV6000 when it had just come out and within one 1 month, (I'm not lying) it had to be sent back for repairs as it would not turn on. The return receipt said motherboard had to be changed. Another time a few years back another HP had to be sent back with 6months of use because the screen had green lines going down it. Would I ever purchase another, of course!! They look good, have many features and the price is...

De-solder the wires. Make sure everything is ok from that end. Solder them back. Use HOT GLUE to ensure that you have the wires separated from each other - and then tape them apart if you like. Use a tester to check if you getting the correct voltages. Try it back in your laptop. If your laptop refuses to charge - shut down and remove the battery. Some laptops will allow you to run from ...

You can ask for 90K (although it's worth much more), but you won't get more than about 75K for it.
I have an Acer Aspire (of similar specs) which I've been trying to get sold (for months) in the classifieds for as low as 65K.

I know I had digitizer problems with my TYTN 1.
This was due to the border of the faceplate touching the outer edges of the screen.
The sliding mechanism worked well for me once I remembered to slide it open properly with both hands (not the casual way you'd use with a sidekick. I loved the ribbon design, so I have no comments on it.

The specs I saw online are for 1.6Gig and no options for any other so you might be dealing with a bios or power limitation. Depending on the amount of RAM installed now a better upgrade would be to simply max out your RAM and call it a day. It would be cheaper upgrade that trying a hit or miss with a new processor. At any rate if it's at 1.6 now you probably wouldn't be able to move beyond 2.0 ...
