Both of them are sweet as far as I am concerned, I normally run one as host and the other as VM but both are so new that vmware don't have the correct drivers to get them to work smoothly like with old ubuntu and XP.
I loved seamless/unity mode. hear that
vmware workstation 7 is out, if and when i get the cash i might upgrade. gonna try virtualbox and see how it holds up to the new stuff....

Download a codec pack for the
video decoders (eg. CCCP, klite). Personally, i use WMP for DVDs.

Not sure of the OS your using, but you can also log into a
limited access account vs a admin account.

I'm thinking about finally retiring my XP tonight, I want to replace it with Win 7 Pro x64. My only concern is that some of my
softwares may not be compatible with the x64 version... hopefully this isn't the case.

You can try pausing the printing - or taking the printer offline - then deleting the jobs. Try that and see if it works.
