It is recommended that the screen be replaced in the event of a crack: Quote: . The LCD screen is one of the more common laptop components to malfunction. The screen is prone to visible damage. For example, if the LCD cracks, liquid diffusion may occur, and you must replace the screen. http://www.ehow.com/about_5543987_ca...-repaired.h tml

Super Talent has VERY good RAM on the cheap. They have some Triple-Channel DDR3 2000 Cas 9 for about $160. I'm sure you could find the Dual channel alternative for a good price. EDIT:: Corsair Dominator GT EAT YOUR HEART OUT .

Using anything less than a 9600GSO for PhysX will net you a performance drop, instead of increase. Don't bother.

Check RAM. - Clean and reseat. Check PSU. - If U have a PSU tester you can use that. Open it up and check for bad caps or other visibly bad components. Check heatsink. Maybe time to change the thermal paste on your processor? How about circulation and ventilation? Post your replies.
