I don't think that SATA controller is necessary. Also, what's with the 4x320GB drives? Why not 2x320GB and two larger drives? Personally, I would grab another monitor of similar size and another 2x2GB kit of mem.

Well for me it was a 500 watt psu with a 150mm green led fan that you see here : its really perty i must say and the fan almost makes no noise even tho its so big, and handles powering my system quite well

I priced one of these out last night. My cost configured was about $1300, I am really thinking about getting one for Christmas. I am just fascinated with the touch screen, nothing more.

Drives could be going or damaged. Cables could be intermittent. Power supply could be going or damaged. Board could be going or damaged. Those are probably the main things that would contribute to your drives acting up. If you are experienced enough, I would say open up your PSU to check for any obvious damage inside.
