I don't get the deal with this. MySQL is open source. Just create a new code branch from MySQL, setup a new repository, give it a new name and off you go. Why bother trying to save an old company when the source code is open source and is the only thing in need of saving?

John, There is one aspect of the personal video conferencing that I think you are missing - at least in RADVISION, today's room systems are utilized by having one or two room systems in a call, with multiple additional participants joining in from their VC240 "executive" system or desktop clients. My belief is that this kind of a usage makes the most sense ...

I've been using Windows 7 Ultimate since 10 days ago; moving from from Win XP Home. I did a clean install and was surprised by how clean and easy the whole process. Everything went right on the Acer Aspire laptop, whereas XP couldn't get the sound to work when I did a clean install. So far the positive experience from this and from using has helped to change ...

When I complained to AT&T about their spotty 3G coverage they explained that while they didn't cover as much area as Verizon does, their network is "better". So based on that logic, Verizon probably doesn't sell ANY phones in NYC, right? The "better" argument is like going into a store and having them say their prices are lower for the item I'm looking...

Odd that PC World just announced the results of a Droid vs. iPhone: Smartphone GPS Shootout and the Droid won easily. The iPhone had more GPS signal failures than the Droid so I guess throughput isn't the whole story.

Unless it is a perfect world, truth or not, it does matter. Someone is always looking for a litigious target to make a quick buck. By not telling the truth all of the time they are attempting to minimize potential liabilities. Can you blame them?
