The disc is fine, I've installed vista with the same disc on another computer. If the 64 bit version of vista works on my computer and 32 bit does not, is there no reason why? Dell drivers for the 64-bit version are very difficult to find, hence the trouble. Someone, please solve this for me.

Here is some useful tips http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/resize-a-partition-for-free-in-windows-vista/ Also note the C drive and unallocated space have to be next to each other - like this C DRIVE - Un-allocated - E Drive If it is not like that but like this C Drive - E-Drive - Un-allocated then your...

Published (2008-11-26 02:44:00)
Hi, First I would like to say may computers preinstalled with Windows Vista now do not support Windows XP. Even if it supports Windows XP, I am afraid you cannot revert to Windows XP as you do not have a Windows XP disk and license. Microsoft no longer sells Windows XP licenses now. Therefore, I suggest continuing using Windows Vista. I understand that some hardware devices do not work with Windows Vista. You can try to download...
