Make sure you have update KB947821 installed. I had the same issues getting SP1 to work until I checked through all my updates and noticed I missed this one somehow. SP1 went in fine right after installing this update. Vista Home Prem 32. scott

Try this: select file inside any folder in Microsoft Windows Explorer. Then move mouse around window. Press Del button. Note that file still looks selected. However Vista deletes the whole folder instead of selected file! I loss a lot of information this way. What the fuxxing developers work in Microsoft!!! They could not even fix this bug for several years!

Installing SP1 progress bar seems to get to 100% when I get error 0x8007000D ("An internal error occured while installing the service pack."). I copied the SP1 file to the desktop and tried again but the same error occurs. Any ideas?

Ok with Vista, when I logon I have only got one user so no logon screen appears - which is good as I am using a home pc. When I log off, I get the log of screen with the Restart/Sleep/ Shutdown etc drop down. The Sleep option is always selected for some reason- I am 80% sure there is no "hibernation" turned on so why do I get the Sleep option. I also do not want this drop down option menu - ...

I am having trouble and am getting popups saying CRYPT32.dll is missing. It is certain there in both system32 and WOW64. I tried to regsvr32 it and it came up with an error message saying it could not find the entry point.
