Possibly you're running into the issue fixed by this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950487   But since that seems to have changed all of a sudden - what has changed in your repro steps ? Did you make a change to the template ? The bug that is fixed with KB 950487 has to do with numbered/bulleted lists where the list marker (... such as the bullet) got deleted manually. So...

I have a choice column on a document library and want to select more than one value as the default for that column.  The column accepts multiple values but it appears that I cannot set multiple values as the default.   I have tried commas, semi-colons, and spaces between the values but it will not accept them.  I receive the following message, which I am guessing implies that only ...

I have recently implemented our production Sharepont environment and I cannont hide the "Forms" folder of a Docuement Library in Explorer view even when I have "do not show hidden files and folders" ticked.   In the test environment the "Forms" folder is hidden when "do not show hidden files and folders" is ticked.   What could be causing this behaviour?...

Here is the thing. We are re-designing an already working site but now we are using moss 2007. In the new site we want an area where are users can see videos of the company. We will use the flv format for our videos. How does moss handle these kind of files? Is it easy to create lists with these kind of files and then using a gridview to lets say make a shocase of the data stored there? I mean...

I am currently analysing a customer site in which a new SharePoint 2007 farm is to be created. The new farm will be the basic platform for all upcoming web applications. The proposed farm language choice is English for the farm and language packs for various multilanguage requirements.   Besides the upcoming platform there is already a serverfarm in place for an intranet project that ...

Okay, here's what I'm trying to do. I have a feature that does three things: 1. Creates custom list template (using CAML). 2. Creates list instance based on that template (using CAML) . 3. Deploys a pre-created CQWP that queries the custom list I just created. This sounds simple enough but there's a problem. When I deploy the feature, the CQWP won't work because the "ListGuid" ...

Hello Everyone,   We have discovered a problem with saving to MOSS 2007 from Word 2003 or 2007.  Our MOSS server is referenced using a DNS entry "intranet".  MOSS is on port 80 so when we view the document libraries the WebDAV mini redirector (a.k.a. WebClient service) on our PCs (XP service pack 3) displays the document libraries as if they were UNC paths, e.g.: \\intranet\docs\...
