Amit,   First, thank you so much for the help.   However, I ran the ESM for Vista, and I received the following error:   This program requires Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 to be installed on the machine.   So, I downloaded the ExchangeMapiCDO.msi and tried to install that.  I then received the following error:   Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 cannot be installed with...

We are planning to use the Transporter Suite to migrate off a Netscape Messaging IMAP server to Exchange 2007.  After testing some migrations, there are some differences in size.    Migrating a 200MB mailbox in Netscape seems to come over to Exchange without errors.  However, the mailbox size in Outlook says 123MB.  There should be a difference in the way Exchange stores email vs Netscape however i'm not sure the size difference...

You can't use an EAP for this. If the migration tool used doesn't stamp the LegacyExchangeDN as an x500 address on the new mailbox, you can export the LegacyExchangeDN from the users in the old environment to a CSV using LDIFDE or similar tool and then import them in the new environment. Is there any chance you are running Exchange and AD on the same box, if so, there may be contention between the two as in your screen shot as they both try to use the same ports. If you have Active Directory and Exchange on the same box, you probably have a problem with conflicting ports. Active Directory uses Lightweight Directory Access Protocol ( LDAP ) as does Exchange. Unfortunately Active Directory and Exchange try to use the same ports...

Greetings, I have a project to setup a new exchange server, moving all the info and name from the old server to the new. The old server has a 100gig edb and only 2gig remaining. Is this the best solution? Or could someone advise me. I was looking to rather create Exchange #2 and replicate. A future plan is to create a frontend & backend server.   Any help would be welcome,...
