Hey! I am in the process of trying to create an XP (SP3) image that will work on all of our hardware. I created a reference build using VMWare (also tried with MS Virtual PC), and when I deploy it to any physical system, it gets as far as copying the WIM file, rebooting, then next boot up it gets as far as mup.sys and reboots again. Hi, If SCM 2007 + WDS are on one server, and DHCP is on a different server, both are win2008 btw, are there any special DHCP options that need to be configured on the remote DHCP server? e.g. Does option 60 need to be the name of the SCCM / WDS server? Thanks, Ward

I am working in a lab at a client site where PXE cannot be activate.   How can start the process without PXE?   I thought off booting with CD or USB stick with an WINPE ISO/WIM and start the process from there.   I would like to avoid the Media Deployment.   Thanks for any help.   Regards   JP   Alphamosaik...
