Divx for vob to mkv I've used nero 7 for years, but it wont work on my new Windows 7 computer. I don't want to buy nero 9. I'm looking for the best freeware solution to convert individual songs from unprotected concert DVD's to a smaller file to play on a HTPC. I have tried Handbrake allready. I'm looking for advice on the best converter and file format before I convert my concert collection. I'm also considering...

There are many wireless speakers for the PC. I had acquired "Sony SRS-RF930RK" Wireless Speaker for my PC and it's awesome. It cost me around $75 . It is cool gadgets that i use currently.

Optical Audio A-B Switch

Anyone know were I can find an inexpensive A-B switch for optical audio? I have two devices sharing the last input on my surround. I found one with a remote for $169 - that's way out of my range. I don't need a remote, but I'm tired of reaching behind & blind switching the cable.

When iPods go up to 64gb, you'll regret not using 160kbs or above. I am not satisfied with 1000 songs at 128kb on a 4gb MP3 player. That's why I'll probably go with one that uses microSD or a Zune.

Have you tried to connect the sound with HD device through a standard cable and not with HDMI? I know that problem. Because HD video signal + audio signal do troubles sometimes.. Or maybe you have checked your HDMI cable? Maybe the cable causes those problems?

I've been using WMP (Windows Media Player) to rip CDs, can't remember about whether it can/will burn them - and I'm not too sure about whether it will rip DVDs (but I doubt it would).....
