If one stick was dead how would it show as 3.25? Its because you have a 32bit windows which can only address up to 4gb total including gpu's, cashe etc...

Also, what has just come to my attention is that I have 4 1GB sticks on my motherboard BUT when I got to system properties, instead of saying 4.0GB RAM it says 3.25GB RAM. What does this mean? Is one of my sticks of RAM dead?

I agree. It's probably part of the power saving routien. Put the old fan back in - just in case it's a bad fan - and run the computer and see if it powers on when it needs it. If that works, then try it with the new fan, and I'll bet it works. I think it will shut down automatically if it starts to overheat anyway.

Really? A 500W would feed my system? I have a C2Q Q6600 for a proc, a 500W will still work with a 275 co-op?

Dang Aunti Surreal even I had to look this one up. This is a Digital River thing correct? Basically what I get is License Lock Box holds your software online for you so you can get it at anytime within the 3yrs that way you don't need to burn it to a disk, or if you do and loose the disk you can still get it. I don't see why there would be a reason you couldn't d/l and...

AMD-Intel on a virus level you are kidding right, viruses are software based not hardware so that part doesn't matter. What are you doing now compared to then? 64-32 only really matters if all the programs you run are 64bit otherwise from an AV standpoint it doesn't mater.

just use Windows Media Player, it will create regular Audio CD's from MP3, WMA, etc. Your stereo probably doesn't play MP3 CD's, just regular CD Audio. why would getting ahold of the Lumina's Manual help you with that? Blaupunkt is an Aftermarket Stereo Brand, not many American Cars use them, some European Brands do offer them in their cars from the manufacturer ...

Is the new PSU shorting on something? What is the make and models of both PSU's? Also just to add when looking for a PSU to power a video card it is the Amps on the +12v rail that you need to pay attention to.

What is your current PSU? That 880 watt psu is overkill, and kind of expensive for an off brand. If your current psu is of suspect manufacture, you may want to consider one of these: Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W Continuous Power ATX12V version 2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply - ...

Hi, Just drill out the blank with a small drill, or get a new cable. New cables and floppy connectors have no blank on the cable or missing pin on the motherboard. Don't forget the final check on orientation is the red stripe goes on the side with the #1 pin.
