wait, jem masters...that is so crazy that you got it to work. I did ALL of that, however, I have vista, so some of those settings are not available (or I couldn't find them) ...You don't happen to know your way around it using vista do you? You would be helping aLOT of my friends from back home in the boondocks of Ohio where nobody gets anything but these seirra compasses. Can you please help them so I can pwn'em online! lol

Okay thanx guys And i've read about how they've screwed us over Cause im a massive CoD4 Fan after many sleepless nights playing it And i wouldnt have brought it myself but my dad is going too So i may as well give it a go

C&C is a pain but if you follow these steps it should work for you if the game is install put disc in drive on boot up choose delete from the menu delete the game plus any personal files [ saves ] when finish deleting pop open the drive and let drive boot up you should be only able to install game after install go online [ thru game ] DL and install updates than set up your account-----play

I got my "65544_65536_english.rtp" update to finally work by uninstalling and retrying several times. Now it won't let me play online, says Serial number is invalid. I got my copy from a yard sale for $4 this summer... now I know why it was so cheap. How can I get a valid serial number?

For 2 different account names you will need to purchase 2 different copies of MW2. When you purchase a game on steam it is tied with the user account that purchased it. So if you want your own separate names/stats/etc, you will need 2 copies. That said, I would suggest you read through this thread: PC Modern Warfare 2: it's much worse than you thought Infinity Ward ...

You have two seperate Xbox consoles? I believe you'll need to transfer your account from the one at your dad's house to the one at your mom's, and then vice versa when you go from your mom's to your dad's. It would be easier just to take the original Xbox with you from place to place.

simple solution go into the data folders in ur documents and put in: folders: Maps MapPreviews Save Replays files (start as .txt files and change them to .ini files): options.ini Skirmish.ini SkirmishStats.ini

not working I installed it and it was perfectly working till i met the #1 blacklist driver razor. i saved it there and tryed to play it few weeks later. But when i started resume free roam or a race or a milestone it just keep saying that speed . exe have encountered a problem and needs to close my system has 512 ram pentium 4 and 40 gb
