Hi and thanks, unfortunately I don't have any other mini cards. I guess I can invest 4.99 on ebay for an attempt at a used mini card. The windows i have open at the moment freezing occurs, are usable. If i have internet explorer open when i input the USB Device, i can use keyboard and mouse normally with it, and open websites. The problem is that i am not able to open any new programs. Even if i try to open the start-menu, it is frozen. Same thing if i try to press ctrl-alt-del, the task manager will not open - until i disconnect or remove the USB 3G Dongle. This is pretty...

I don't think the developers of EggheadCafe have a clue about Identity
values in their own stolen database material, never mind about their
user's cluelessness in using such a 'resource'...

I need to add this information:
Under " Universal serial bus controllers" in Device Manager:
I do not have "USB 2.0 Root Hub", only "USB Root Hub".
But there is two "Intel ICH9 Family USB2 Enhanced host controller"
Does this mean the PC does has USB 2.0 compatibility or not?
Thanks

Hi,
I have a Sony VAIO with windows xp home. It had been having problems with
the mini pci wireless card. In devices it showed code 10. I pulled it out and
put it back in and during boot up I got the error... Conflict PCI Network in
slot 2 BUS 00 Device 07 Function 00. I can boot past that by hitting f1.
Then, I started getting a fatal error memory parity problem. I had ...

XP Pro 64-Bit was a dud, not worth the time, money or effort.
