Probably because it takes time for the Search indexing to get updated. That deleted email may still be in your "Deleted Items" folder depending on your settings for how that box is handled. If you get an error message related to the sending, please copy and paste the entire message (you may have to "Cancel" to get the entire error message to display) so that more precise instruction can be provided - and your ISP and email provider (part after the @ symbol). get rid of that email

You can ask, but you can't be sure that the recipient read your mail, even
if it was received.
In OE or WM or WLM, click Tools | Options | Receipts, then check the first
box, "Request a read receipt for all sent messages".
But that irritates a lot of users - like me; I seldom send a receipt, even

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not enabled.
If that setting was correct, which antivirus are you running? Some of them
cause problems with Windows Mail over time.

The 0x80004005 error often indicates corruption of the mailbox
on the server.
In your browser go to https://webmail.blueyonder.co.uk and log in.
Then clean out all the folders in your webmail. If you want to save
any messages, create a new folder and move those messages to the
new folder. Empty the spam and thrash folders also. Close webmail,
then try Windows Mail again.

Simply follow AOL's instructions: http://postmaster.aol.com/imap/express.html
Those instructions were written for Outlook Express, but
Windows Mail uses the same settings as Outlook Express.

do not need scanning of emails. The resident AV will stop anything trying to come
through anyway
Scanning of emails is one of the biggest problems for email clients.Even Norton
