It is possible to overclock your computer by using any third party tool. You can use RivaTuner. But things you will need to take care is that first your must have adequate powersupply. Overclocking can fry your processor out. RivaTuner is a easy to use to tool for overclocking. You can download the same from below link. The tool has user friendly settings. You can just simply use a bar to moving forward to overclock your processor. But that...

Make sure you have high ampage rails for stable OCes. Though any decent high wattage PSU will have good high amp rails. The eXtreme Power Plus RS-460-PMSP-A3 from Cooler Master pushes out 460W of power to handle your system. It is compliant with the newest Intel ATX 12V v2.3 specifications so it is a great choice for both replacements and new builds.

You need to just check total power output, find out what you need in the way of current on each power rail. Total Amperage Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important. If you need 20 A on your +12V rails and the supply only has 15A, it doesn't matter how many watts the supply puts out, don't buy it. Make certain that you have ENOUGH rails, too: sometimes, you need more than just two +12V rails for your setup. eXtreme Power...

Cooler Master is great for PC case, even the best... but their power supply are nothing but trouble. Ultra X3 600w or 800w. 600 should be fine but its up to you. The power consumption won't be significantly different from your current system.

This suggests more like 500W, under the same conditions. Maybe the disparity is to give adequate capacity with a cheap PSU. Power Xtreme is the akasa PSU series of 1kW and above class. It is the ideal solution for ultimate gaming and graphics systems. A single high-end graphics card could add 300W more, with two PCI-E power connectors needed.

A DC to DC converter is an electronic circuit which converts a source of direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another. It is a class of power converter. I found some links from where you can get it, try this link: http://www.vicr.com/

Computer cooling is the process of removing heat from computer components. The only possible problem i could ever see is the the fan might ever so slightly stand over the closest ram slot (don't think it will happen though) and even so as long as you don't have corsair dominator ram or something else with a giant heat sink your going to be just fine. Because a computer system's components ...

Just few days back i had installed a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 in order to replace my "old" E6750 CPU. I would like to overclock my CPU to at LEAST 3.2GHz. I am also using a Schythe Katana 2 heatsink and Noctua thermal paste. On the old CPU, using Everest I would get about 35 C as idle temperature and about 50-60 C at full load. With the Q9550 I get about 60 C as idle temperature and at ...

because of the distinct patterns of power CPU on the Athlon and Phenom memory controller (which is not built on Core 2) consumes 10 to 15W in load it is not on Core i7 ,being powered via the standard ATX . despite tension contained consumption Phenom II X4 955 is up significantly compared to the Phenom II X4 940, with 5 watts more at rest, It is therefore up to a level close to the Phenom X4 ...

The BIOS is where hackers like to optimize optimize, and further optimized. In the BIOS Biostar 330P there will be enough. In the Advanced Chipset Features menu it will indeed possible to raise the bus frequency to 250 MHz, modify the coefficient HT, manipulate the settings related to memory timings, or the RAM out of sync. The menu Frequency / Voltage Control allows for him to change the ...

Hi, Without Thermal paste between the CPU and the heatsink, it will work but not for long. It is likely that the thermal paste is already on the radiator in the form of a colored band. According to Intel, a substance on the radiator is the thermal paste.

If you go through the BIOS to see the overclocking options in Area-51 m17x that is hitherto simply absent on different models of the brand. The least i can say is that here too Alienware has nothing left out .The possibilities are less. Start with the multiplier which you access if you choose a processor family from Intel Extreme and first observation you will naturally increase this value ...
