My thinking says that if you are going to use more than one monitor and also have more space for desktop then go with Matrox card no issues. Because Matrox owns the multiple monitor market and is famous for this purpose only. I am using a Matrox video card on my main computer and it works great, but does not work for games. But still if your requirement is of having multiple monitors and also like to play games as well, then go Matrox...

No you cannot setup a dual view in Asus EN9400 GT. Even if it provides three video outputs such as RGB, DVI and HDMI only two will work at a time. It has 3 different outputs but same source signal hence you cannot have dual view set up.

According to my knowledge, the matrox card would preferably do very well, but it is known to be set up at workstation card. It is only AGP 4x, and do not have DirectX 9 or 10, which will needed for new games. It costs so much, but it supports up to 3 monitors, all with 3d graphics. So, till now you would have come to know that this would used for specific business purpose only and not end user...

If it is seen then, you can enabled (attached) / disabled, resized, and reoriented to match the configuration that they physically occupy on your desk, by selecting to Extend my ...

There is the possibility that the this is the issue related to the compatibility of the driver software with the operating system you are using. You have also not mentioned here that which operating system you are using in your computer system. That is why the operating system is not able to remove the driver software for the nVidia GeForce GTX 296 graphic card. So there is only one way left ...

I would like to suggest the quality PSU that's rated for at least 20% more total watts than you require, with a minimum 100Watt safety margin. The power is consumed by the video card and the components present on the mother board. Also the quality PSU helps to compensate for PSU demand-surge response, future expansion, on-mobo regulator hardware design variations, temperature, and component ...

I think that the drivers you installed for the Graphics card has created the problem. If you are able to go safe mode, then try to uninstall the drivers and check whether you can boot normally. By doing this, if you are able to boot then the driver that you installed might had conflicted with some other. Hope that uninstalling the driver from the safe mode will resolve your issue.

Many times the windows are not able to detect the Graphic Card, since it require more power supply. If you are having less than 450W of power supply then there are chances of this issue. I think upgrading the power supply will sort out this issue.
