Did you delete all files in the Windows Media DRM folder, as explained in step 3, and reboot? That could be enough to fix the WMP crash. If that doesn't help, I suggest you report the IE crash to microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general, just like you did here for the WMP crash (include the technical details again). Hello, I have been having trouble with a new machine I just built Win XP Pro SP3 with all the updates except those for WMP 11.At one point I had WMP 11 installed and of course that did the same thing as 10 so I reverted back to version 10. I have also tried to reinstall WMP10 over itself but I can't do it. When I try and play an audio CD or video DVD using either of the two drives I have, the sound is horrible! It sounds like a needle...

Yeah this is true... but that brings up another dilemma: how can I update album info if All Music doesn't have it? I'm a stickler for perfection (as close as possible, as it were) and I like having correct album info with an album cover. It still boggles me that they have NOTHING for Titanic the soundtrack... but yet they have the Back To Titanic one, which MHWGO isn't on that one... unless it's instrumental. I digress....

Printing cd covers and track lists.
Published (2009-12-14 02:40:00)
It seems my basic question has beed asked but not really answered except with a link. So I'm going to try, maybe Mike and I can get an answer. I like using WMP, it's quick, easy with no bs involved. The really good part of it was the ability to print my covers from my photos along with the track lists for the compilationsI compile. After suffering a virus and having the system\cleaned, I guess WMP 11 was installed. I've now...

Do you mean that the tracks of one album are scattered over multiple albums? To fix this, you need to give all these tracks the same value for Album Title and Album Artist. Do they get added to the Other Media instead of the Video section, or not added at all? Copy/paste everything between the dashes below to Notepad and save it as a file called WMPAVI.reg. The CD database that WMP uses is far from perfect, so it's not unlikely that certain songs cannot be found. The Britney song is pretty new, and possibly hasn't been entered into this database yet. Hi. This is simple enough. At least this is the way I do it without any hassle. In Windows Media Player, click on "Library" on the header line, then click on "Songs" on the left of the screen. This will list the music in your file alphabetically by the artist's first name. Scrolling down the list, drag each particular song to "Untitled Playlist" on the right of the screen. If you've ...

Windows Media player can't play dvds, don't be supprised. I never achieved that before. Because WMP in the Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, or Windows XP operating system on your computer don't install a compatible DVD decoder (also known as a MPEG-2 decoder). So if you want to play DVD with media player, you have three choice: 1:Purchase a ...
