If people think evilution is science than they are fools. It's nothing more than faith to disprove a creator. Claim: Evolution is "scientific." Evolution is not observable, it is not measurable, and it is not repeatable—three absolutely necessary ingredients for any theory to be deemed scientific. To be scientific, evolution must be based on theories that are falsifiable, which means that such theories can be repeated...

Richard Black, BBC News environment correspondent Ministers and scientists and campaigners who dedicated huge swathes of the last year to making a tough deal happen watched aghast as Chinese and US leaders and their entourages flew in, took over the agenda and emerged with what was basically their own private deal, with leaders announcing it live on television before others realised it had happened. As you'd expect, leaders from EU...

i don't get what you guys are trying to do... clearly, the people who cannot see that evolution is as apparent as gravity, have other motives for being like that and will never be convinced. it's as futile as trying to convince Gene Ray that there are not 4 CORNER DAYS, CUBES 4 QUAD EARTH- No 1 Day God. http://www.timecube.com/ ^^^^^ these are the people you are wasting your time replying to.

Comparing compulsory health insurance to automobile insurance is like comparing compulsory income tax to a sales tax. There is no comparison and I wonder by what authority the government can mandate health insurance?

A two tiered justice system is the start of a two tiered nation and the backers of Sharia Law surely know this (and wish it).
You can't, for the sake of multiculturalism, let one group of citizens operate as an enclave within that nation as surely, at some point, the two value systems will come into conflict and there will be no remedy.

It's about time someone made the point Rich makes here. And he makes it well, in a clear and unambiguous way. The sad truth is people more often than not resonate with information that is reassuring and discard that which is not. This kind of blissful ignorance can be devastating to both the individual and society as a whole.
There was a time when the press was "more" capable of scrutinizing ...

Two things wrong here- 1) The Fed does not control the rates that banks lend out to businesses, only the intra-bank rate.
Banks don't want to lend money right now because their lending policies have tightened up exponentially (and rightfully so) because of the extraordinary risks the industry has taken in the past decade. This has nothing to do with interest rates. If you were a new CEO ...
