Sampras had a very EFFECTIVE game on FAST surfaces. On SLOW surfaces his weaknesses became VERY easy to see. Sampras can be happy that the 90`s had some of the fastest surfaces ever seen. I think Sampras was a good athlete, huge serve, a good forehand and decent volleys. Nothing more nothing less.

*voted a little less spin than average* because it would penetrate through the court more, blake does this well, but its also important to use the topspin for passing shots because they dip so low

Agassi has always had a chip on his shoulder regarding Sampras. That's always been clear. But saying that is just low. How does having a killer serve, cat like movement, and an all court game with a monster forehand and terrific volleys qualify as one dimensional? Agassi had less "dimensions" than Sampras without question. Looks like Agassi doesn't mind burning a few bridges.

We don't know whether or not he just used it one time or multiple times. It obviously didn't affect him positively in tennis and I'm sure he didn't smoke meth right before his tennis matches since in 97 he was not even in the top 100. From what it said in the excerpt he maybe just did it once? Who knows.

Johansson had alot more game than some people realize. He had a very big serve, an excellent backhand, a very good return of serve, a pretty good forehand, and he was very quick around the court. Yeah it was a surprise he won a slam. I always find it funny though when some people argue say Kafelnikov wasnt a weak 2 slam winner. Yet Johansson atleast has a Masters title and has been to the ...
