I have had this beautiful instrument luring in the corner behind my electric bass guitars for a while now and think that it's time to pass it on to the next bass player. This thing is a TON of fun to play! It has a great fretless upright sound to it when playing Pizzicato or Arco. I have been exceptionally pleased with the craftsmanship and durability of this instrument. The K&K Pure Preamp ...

This bass has an nice ebony board, adjustable bridge, is set up and ready to play. Not the prettiest but with low action,no buzzes or problems. Built in Romania in 1997, the top is made of medium grain spruce, the flat back is plain maple. The endpin casing is ebony and the soundpost is spruce. It has a light brown-orange varnish. It comes from/was set up by Atelier Consantin Popescu in Westport, CT. It has been well cared for, no cracks or repairs. I've used it for jazz gigs, shows, classical gigs (twice with the ECSO, twice ...

Hey all, I was finally able to convince my wife that I could buy an acoustic upright bass, but the condition was that I pay for part of it with the electric upright I currently have. So, sad to say, the instrument that got me started and gave me my starter muscle memory has to go. I've included pics below if you just want to skip the text, but here's the low down. I bought this ...

Is anyone interested in a german style brazilwood bow for bass? I bought it from Gollihur music 2 years ago for about $150 and it was very rarely used, now that I've sold my upright I have no use for it. It's in good shape and wanted to see if anybody on TalkBass was interested before I put it on EBay. Make me an offer.
