Midbass hump = Ampeg Still, I agree that they're not the right speaker for the OP.

I have 2 restored Kawasaki, 3 cylinder, 2 stroke motorcycles. Nothing vibrates worse than these bikes and they spin up to 8,000 RPM (regularly!) Nylocks with a drop of Loctite 242 is unstopable and is standard fare on the drag bikes as well. Keps nuts are also nice but they scar the mating surface of nicely machined parts.

Definitely check the support rods for the tube cage like beans-on-toast said, I had a rattle in my old one that seemed to emanate from that rod being loose. I tightened it up and it was good to go, but one was always higher than the other, which I found odd. I also found a penny in there, which probably wasn't a good thing to have flopping around when the head was flipped upside. My "new" B-15 also has a loose support...

Usually less than five days? BTW I always leave my amp running at least half power with a signal going into it. Man is my electric bill killing me and I've worn out three converters so I wouldn't "underpower" my cabs in the band trailer? Just kidding of course.

I can't seem to find a better 10" for the measurements of the cab than the S2010
Wow, between the great search function on this forum and googling, I've learned more about speakers this past weekend than I knew. At least I think so.....
This amp seems to fit well within in the mfgr recommended enclosure specs for the ...

Sweet.
I'm lovin' the depth of commitment to this project that's being exhibited by some of you guys. The "Cheap but Good" cross-overs are scratchin' me right where I itch.
Incidentally, I took delivery of a 3015LF and a ASD1001 this week. Still undecided on the mid. (I think I mentioned in the first thread that Loudspeakers Plus is the Canadian distributor for 18 Sound and they'll only ...

My computer speakers are nothing special but the sound isn't magnificently different to me. The 3012LF sounds a LITTLE deeper but not amazingly so
I am really impressed with the Alpha 6a's sound. Makes me wonder if a pair of those and a pair of 3012LFs would be a better way to go for a 2x12 cab than a 6nd410 (about half the price for a few pounds of weight).

Folks,
My GB Shuttle went from being "Tonto," my faithful companion, to "Jingles," a less than steller sidekick, last night. If you understand these references you must be an old fart like myself!
I was playing a production of Rent last night in a theater which I know well. I was using my Shuttle 6.0, which has served me faithfully for the last year and a half or so. Amp was fine until ...

I have been doing a lot of thinking about my rig lately and can't help but feel that it might be time for a change. I currently own (and enjoy) a small and portable rig consisting of an Epifani UL-502 and a NYC T112 cabinet. I love the tone, the portability is great and it's always been my favorite amp. BUT...lately I have been really diving into Motown and complex finger-style grooving(ie ...

I'm not really one for clubs, but I definitely dig my B1500. Along with an Acme B4 it makes for a fantastic rig.

Looking for opinions on what amp or amps you guys think has the best clean tone.
i've searched around and Hartke, Carvin & Mesa seemed to be thrown in the " clean machine" category the most. But i thought i'd see if we can get somewhat of a consensus in one thread.
I've mostly played GK (fusion & 1001) and find them to have a good clean tone, but could be cleaner, IMO.
I have an SWR ...
