best non-vector format?
Published (2009-11-29 14:34:00)
With a vector file, there's less of an issue with quality. You can scale, stretch, and otherwise manipulate vector art without a loss of quality. When working with the raster files, there are quality issues you must concern with, both in working with a raster file, and also when saving to a raster format. You could save a crap quality file to a lossless tiff format and still have crap because of how you worked on the art. Or, you can work...

Finalizing Vectors

It is always best to design/illustrate using spot colors. This enables you allot more control over changing colors, merging colors, ect... Designing with spot colors from the start makes thing easy and fast in the end especially for color separations. Use Pantone color book 'solid coated'. regarding the gradient, If you have spot colors already created in your 'swatches' window, you would drag the spot color you want to use...

Other than the basics, there really isn't a difference. Flooding the screen between prints, longer cure dwell times, that's really it. Ryonet has waterbased videos, but it is just basic stuff. Why don't you tell us specifically what's going wrong with your attempts and we can try to give you specific advice. For example, on the white base. What's happening to the print where it doesn't look good? Is it just vibrancy?

Fonts in the United States are considered typeface and is not copyright
protected. This has been upheld in court cases and the law was changed to
confirm this is the 70's. If the font is an art then it is copyright
proctected, like the D for the Detroit Tigers. Google fonts and copyright
to confirm this.

I have a large inventory of the blanks. What do you suggest I do with theses blanks? If they are relabeled with your brand, then I'd suggest just using them yourself for your own designs. Quote:...

You might want to just restart the program. Make sure there are no stuck keys on your keyboard too.

Ok, so I make a really awesome design in GIMP or paint or whatever I'm using, and then when I save it, the pixels get all wonkey on me. Yay I get to start again!
Anyways, what is the best format that is NON-vector to keep pixels in tact? (ex. JPG, PNG, etc)
Thanks

don't try to fit to a path...size your text and use the 'arrange' drop down...select 'envelope' then select 'add new' the select the second option...single arc...the select the center point and pull down until you get what you want...that is for the 'cafe' just pull from the top on the upper text..
this should get the effect you want

yes, I'm doing the design in vinyl. I dont have Adobe Illustrator but I
think the client does, so what I need to know is what form to ask them for
so I can open it in a workable format for me in cutstudio.
