Printing directly to mouse...

Since mousepads do not get washed I would recommend using the regular white ink pre-treatment and then doing a "hover cure" on the printed mouspad instead of direct contact. This will minimize the flattening effect you often get when applying pressure and the white ink pre-treatment will keep the colors up on top of the pad. Hope this helps.

great deal on T-jet Blazer...
Published (2009-12-04 03:30:00)
We do stock all the parts for the Blazer printers - as well as parts for many other printer brands. You might also want to consider a refurbished Blazer which will come with a warranty included. There are thousands of T-Jet printers out there - the largest number sold of any brand. It's a strong market for us for service, support, parts, and inks and one we intend to be in and grow for years to come. Harry Equipment Zone

thanks don and everyone else who replied and offered tips, hints and help. it worked. they are coming out a lot better. i have to perfect how i spray them (they certainly act differently than a shirt that lays still and flay!) fortunately, the ones from best blanks are inexpensive enough to learn on!

WOW! I can't believe how quickly you all got back to me! Mark got me going, the epson was on usb 1 and the powerRIP was on usb 2. I knew it was something simple. THANK YOU! I purchased used so there was no training. I was handed running shoes as I learn to crawl. I will get it. I will look for the manual on the Hard drive. Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum!

great deal on T-jet Blazer...
Published (2009-12-04 03:30:00)
I really appreciate the input. I have heard some pretty good things about the new blazer express. My next question is, if it can be had at lets say half of retail would it be worth buying? Would I have enough cash cushion to self warranty it so to speak? or should I just as the say "fuh get about it". The package includes the new printer, quite a bit of ink and supplies, an auto pre-treater, a press and will pay for training...

Anyone ever tried this ...... ?
Published (2009-11-26 14:12:00)
I know there are silks/cotoon fabrics with paper backing for pigment/dye ink printers which people use for scarfs ect. I got doubts though that it will last that many washes without a treatment of heat

Thanks! I "most of the time" run them through our big dryer then a short time under the press. I think it is just the nature of the DG printer.

Printing on dar garments with an Epson based printer can be hell.
Lots of maintenance, clog heads and pricey ink cost.
I think Brother gives you 10 grand if you trade in existing machine : )
I had Epson based to Brother and its like night/day, only machine I wonder consider may be a DTG machine, I know a few people who run them with no complaints

I am looking into adding a digital garment printer to my existing in home promo product business. I am looking to ask some questions about which printer is best to work with, what to expect in the way of maintance.
I get quite a few request for small runs of t-shirts and my screen printer and I have discussed that this might be the best way for me to go after additional business.
thanks,

my only problem is how to make it print white ink ? (on the 4880 ) A RIP will do the trick and MultiRIP GP will be a good choice.

I have found a killer deal on a new t-jet blazer express complete set up, all brand new. Evidently it was a replacement of a t-jet 3 for a customer and came from US screens and they are out of business. Is the manufacturer still in business? If so why is there no warranty? Would appreciate some input because a great deal isn't a great deal with no support available for parts, repairs etc. I...

Hi,
How many printers are epson based?
It may be easier to confirm which ones aren't.
Am I wrong that only Kornit and Brother are non-epson based machines?
Thanks

Kornit makes the claim of printing on polyester with white ink, but, from my understanding it is a very limited number of types of polyester that it will work on. Besides - a Kornit cots 6-15 times the price of an HM1-C.

Kevin,
Your software program works exactly the same way as MultiRIP GP ( MultiRIP GP Direct-to- Garment Printing Software for dtg Printers - Epson Digital Printers ). You can review all the FAQs that are listed below on that page. You can also use some of the documentation from MultiRIP Hybrid I have listed below:
Why does my graphic run through the RIP, but does not print from my printer?...

If you can afford it, why not do both? You'll need a heat press with both methods. As far as DTG , the Veloci-jet by Equipment Zone seems to be the most reliable abd affordable printers out there.

What machine do you own? DTG HM1 What were the sources of information you researched to make your decision? I researched alot on this forums and screenprintuniversity , I also went to the my local distributor after I learned about the kiosk as that was the first machine I was looking at, and then while I was there learned of the HM1 coming out. I then went to the Long beach SGIA ...

Good advice, but you forgot to mention how crucial it is to maintain the
Wiper Blade on a daily basis. This is the only part that should have any
contact with the Printhead's Nozzle Plate, so it should be the second
cleanest part on the machine.
