Ye gods, the weather people are saying it may snow here over Christmas, with a potential of 2 feet of snow over 2 days.

Adelaide seemed to take the Doctor's orders after her initial severe suspicion almost as articles of faith, but she still might have jumped levels fairly fast once she (or if she) realized how quickly people were infected.

Query: Would Adelaide have jumped from Safety Protocol 1 right on down to Safety Protocol 5 (skipping 2, 3, and 4 in the process) if Ten hadn't told her she would activate 5? This post has been edited by Adararose : Dec 21, 2009 @ 11:06 pm.

We've got snow, here, a couple of inches. Hopefully enough to make the hall look pretty tomorrow, not cause chaos. (I was annoyed yesterday - it took an hour to get to work, despite no snow on the actual roads...

Checking in from my vacation, where I was supposed to be taking it easy at home, scrubbing my kitchen in preparation for painting and finishing up my Christmas shopping. Instead, today and through New Years, I'm mom-sitting. My Mom is now living at my sister's and she seems to get weaker by the day. She used to be okay by herself during the day when everyone's at work, but she fell twice in the last few days. She didn't...

There is supposed to be a thaw by Christmas day here which is typical since everyone is supposed to love a white Christmas, but thats probably because no-one here has ever seen one. However at the moment i'm looking out of window at a blizzard and thinking of taking my work home soon since the roads being English are bound to block up any minute and i'll be stuck here, indeed even though they have gritted its sticking which is never...

Sorry to hear about your mom, WyKnott . I hope you all have a marvelous Christmas despite those changes. And the filling really didn't hurt at all - they numbed me up good. It's mostly just annoying, especially since I have generally good oral hygiene (so much so that they remarked on how clean my teeth were... except for the cavity). I still have two presents to buy. And I refuse to go to the mall, although our more local stores...

Also totally spoiled in the original UK trailer (in fact it`s been in the press there for months).

I think the solo went okay. It didn't feel right, but I think it sounded good. People I didn't know told me it was wonderful, so I'm going to assume it was. I just wish I could get over this paralyzing fear. I love to sing and I am always told I have a beautiful voice. I just wish I could use it without having a heart attack. I think I just have to get used to the idea of people hearing me and get into a comfort zone. Doing my...

It's just appeared on the BBC breaking news that Carphone Warehouse have suspended their sponsorship of the programme. It'll be interesting to see what sort of effect that has.

That said, it was full of Whovian goodness. A little bit of trivia: apparently they were in rehearsals for this when Tennant found out he was going to play the Doctor. It was common knowledge among the cast that he was going back and forth on it, so when he finally said yes, the cast was excited. Then, during the final production (it was all filmed live, yes?) One of the cast members (...

Well I thought that was much better than "Planet of the Dead". The Doctor was getting kind of creepy in his arrogance at the end. I wonder how much his actions changed history. Also I didn't like the water monsters or what ever they were. The screaming was freaky.

And yet ... Oh Promethea! Are our musings bringing confirmations from you? ;) ETA: BBC press Office have put up the synopsis for "Blink" In an old, abandoned house, the Weeping Angels wait, as Russell T Davies's Doctor Who continues. However, when people start disappearing, a young woman called Sally finds cryptic messages bleeding through from 1969 – messages from a mysterious ...

Does his revelation of "something big that apparently David Tennant had been teasing him about" involve the phrase "David Ten-inch"?

It was... entertaining, but somehow I'm underwhelmed. It was typical RTD; spectacular set pieces and colourful but somehow one dimensional characters, not really coming together into a coherent whole. Somehow there was nothing difficult or challenging about it - it was a well made piece of children's tv, but nothing more. Everything was neatly wrapped up, nothing had any consequences. I ...

The return of the Brigadier. Given it's the 30th season, they need to do something big, and I think this would be ideal. We find out what Ten did to piss off Elizabeth I. Some sort of hint of what exactly happened to the Time Lords when the Doctor stopped the Daleks. The new companion should be someone who isn't going to fall in love with the Doctor. I agree with pretty much everything ...

I thought this site was quite interesting. Squeee!! The Doctor in the Blue Suit (which I now like, when originally I didn't!) with his thinking glasses! Incidentally, they may have borrowed the design from The Friday Night Project !

Cancelled?! I'm taking this with a grain of salt at the moment. Davies has been dropping major hints all through the S3 promotional circuit that he'd be moving on after S4 but I find it hard to believe the BBC would just axe the show entirely as a result. All the talk of "pacts" seems hyperbole at least.
