I keep thinking today is Friday, and it's not. Which means getting out of bed tomorrow is going to be HARD. I got to go home from work early yesterday thanks to the snow! It was super! I finished a book, and watched Elf and drank hot cocoa. And luckily we didn't lose power, which is surprising considering how super windy it was.

Hey, Ankai . I always check up on Veronica Mars but never really looked in here. Your post on Hillsongs sums up generally how I feel about them. My old church sang nothing but stupid Hillsongs for years and years. Happy birthday, firestarter . Having just seen this again, I have to mention my favourite scene: the comments (Vice) Principal Clemmons makes before presenting Veronica with her diploma. I really enjoyed their slightly adversarial relationship and I thought the "Any advice if I get another student like you?" "Don't tape your passwords under your stapler!" dialogue encapsulated that perfectly. I particularly like that...

Want to know the one that annoys the most? Duncan's scene, where he's supposedly in Mollymook Australia - clearly not. We do not have lifeguard towers like those in Australia and there is definitely no tower like that on Mollymook beach. Details! At least for the sack of your Aussie viewers film a strip of beach with no tower! HEE. They probably looked at Google and went 'Mollymook! ...

We only have Duncan's word that Veronica was conscious when they had sex. Really? I really don't think rapist is on Duncan's list of character traits. Also the GHB may have hampered his vision and awareness.

Fudge. My 'friend' called me to goat that Veronica was a goner. Way to ruin my day. Sigh. I guess its okay, Ronnie. Lately you hadn't been as awesome as before. What I liked most about this episode was that it worked to either repair or apologize for some of the biggest problems I've had with this show. First, it was great to see Sheriff Mars on a college radio station where his victims could call in a grill him while Vinnie Van Lowe again reminds us why I want to vote for him, taking murder more seriously than 20-year-olds drinking beer. That conclusion was so great. There was no need for a thriller finale. Veronica figured out a big mystery arc not by chance or finding a shocking clue, but by solid profiling and detective work. Thats a first. Good change of pace for the arc finales! I am so pissed Mindy is dead though. I was starting to love her.
