Don't these women ever have a warm and fuzzy story to tell about their holidays? How freaking depressing the holidays seem to be for them. And yes Sherri, you should read the Twilight series before dissing the movie.

IMO BW was very rude and dismissive of Chopra. Probably jealous she was not invited to the White House. Seems to me that someone did get hurt - Tiger. Early in the morning, wife had golf club in her hand, crash at a low speed that didn't deploy the airbags, back window smashed in - somehow Tiger was on the street semi-conscious? No one got hurt? As I recall Sherri was very anxious when she first started The View to hit her husband in the...

I think Chopra was set up to appear somewhat weird. BW's too far along the dementia train to realize that she was used, but it was very deliberate on the part of Geddie and Bitsy That's exactly what I'm thinking. I believe it was "pay back time" for Deepak from Bits and Geddie. How dare he "warrant" an "apology" from the Bits after her insulting comments about him? Lots of...

The Tonight Show With Conan...

Tonight's episode was a rerun for some reason. Perhaps they couldn't top the awesomeness of last night's show and decided to start again on Monday?

I was a little surprised today that they didn't mention the first State Dinner. Katie Couric was there as well as Robin Roberts. Maybe Babs was ticked that she wasn't invited. Oh well... Now that you mention it I thought the announcer guy at the begining said something about Michelle Obama "making a statement" and showing a gorgeous pic of her and the President. Maybe it was a different show. I've already...

On an unrelated note, more proof Bitsy is racist: disparaging our fellow Banana-Americans. Heee!!! mcree I completely missed that I was slagged by Bitsy!

My bet's on that Mrs.Hasselneverhasbeenbeck will find an excuse to absent for "whatshisname glitter glasses" on The View on Monday.

Deepak was at the White House dinner last week. I am certain that will be the "HOT" topic tomorrow, along with them pressing him on the reality tv party crashers. Geddes is probably oozing in his undies right now.

If all the ladies are sitting with Depak, Bits will be very quiet. If they don't have all the women sitting with him, it will be Joy and Whoopi. You can't exactly trust Sherri's mouth in certain situations either. Sadly, that is based on her ignorance, not an inherent mean streak like the one running through Bits. It will be a dull interview although I would prefer to be wrong. This is the View however. ymmv fftd

I was away last week and didn't watch the View, but have been watching it on and off this weekend. I did however, follow along on here, so I'm excited to get to the torture edition of Hot Topics. I will admit that when y'all were referring to Jacque Reid I was thinking Jackee Harris. And the thought of her being in the RCOB made me shudder.

It does make me mad to hear such intelligent discourse about the Polanski case on this show vs what happens on the View trainwreck where facts are kind of out the window. I haven't checked the credits, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the laughers is Frank Gallo. He worked (works?) behind the scenes at The Daily Show and his laugh is very identifiable.

I am so glad to be one of the first to comment on Wendy's show. I am a 58-year-old white female and I love Wendy. I wish she'd do a show just by herself--it would be too much for one person, I know, but she's so wonderful....... I'd love to just have a cup of coffee (iced, no caffeine) with her and schmooze--she is just delightful..........

Seth Green is such a charming guest. He has a really good rapport with Conan. That was a great story he told about his mom running into Conan in Philadelphia and making him call Seth from her phone (the caller ID said "Mom" and when he heard a man's voice he got worried that something had happened to her). The Star Wars Robot Chicken sounds hilarious. I loved when he was doing all his "...

Gfunkorama , your friend is an idiot. Or at least grossly ignorant of reality. According to the Department of Defense , spending for "national defense" (not counting emergency funding for the "Global War on Terror") is one of the single largest federal budget expenditures at (in the neighborhood of) $450 billion. The only expenditures that come close are Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, ...

I just started watching the episode, and all I know so far is that she believes her brother, Kevin, has brainwashed their father into thinking that Maureen stole from his retirement fund. I'll have to watch the repeat at five to see the beginning.

I've watched a couple of the videos... Fallon's much better when he sits. If he's standing he waves his arms around and shifts his weight, which just looks like it makes him more nervous.

Wow, that looked like a significant fire -- I wonder if they will be able to get back in their own studio in a day or two? Was that the national ABC News studio that had the most serious damage? There was a significant "hummmmmm" in a lot of today's program, and while I know they must have really scrambled to get to a replacement studio, that was very distracting. For anyone who missed it, ...

I'm so angry these shows were all apparently filmed in NYC in the spring & I didn't know about them until about a month ago. It looks like the SNL studio to me, but I'm not sure about that. There have been ads for this for weeks in the subway stating Wed @ 9:00 but no starting date. I'm not a huge Elton John fan but I adore Elvis Costello. I'm looking forward to the whole series....
