Thanks glory , that was pretty much what I remembered. Book Zedd knows perfectly well his daughter is dead but it looks like they're going to dangle that plot point from time to time in the series.

Why didn't they just shoot the bad guy in the head? Or use tear gas earlier? Or maybe have a SWAT team standing by as backup? Ot at least disable the getaway car by puncturing a tire or something? Oh right, that would make *sense*.

Yeah i accidentally started my own thread about this.. It looks fantastic, a perfect blend of comedy and action.. Theres a promo posted on the website if you haven't see it yet, definitely a fun summer show.. BTW, Javier was also a producer on Medium..

Coming to a tv near you courtesy of Sam Raimi . Which means it will probably have a healthy dose of camp. Really, I just can't imagine how this will be done. Certainly the story can only be improved by cutting out huge chunks but there's all the rapes and murders and blood. If they get that far, will the Evil Empire still be....Communism? After months of hyping from the BBC and the lack of a thread (I couldn't find one here), this series finally starts on Saturday on BBC1 at 7.30pm. There's a great cast with Colin Morgan, Anthony Stewart Head, Richard Wilson and John Hurt and for Doctor Who fans, Julie Gardner is also a producer for the series. So far, only the first season of Airwolf seems to have made it to DVD. I used to love this despite all the stock footage of the helicopter, cutting to Ernest Borgnine holding a spanner.

Yeah I don't think I can watch the show now that the recaps are gone. It's alright but I already have a lot on my TV plate, Zoe is obnoxious (can't act AND a butterface), and much like the late " Tru Calling" the snark of the recaps is generally the best thing about the show.
