Oooh - fun! So does that mean the new episodes start up next week? No? Must be the week after, right? Just countin' the days...

After Wil Wheaton, I have faith. Probably mis-placed, but I like what they've been doing with their guest stars.

Irishchik, I get what you're saying, but staying put wasn't one of the options. I thought it was a pointless plot line. I liked the Butterball hotline bit, but who cares where the FF has Thanksgiving? If I were ever polled with that question, that would be my answer. NH, DC or Camp David. Who cares? Image/schmimage. And its not like POTUS couldn't tell the staff to take the day off, no matter where they were, they could take...

I was watching Wake Up with Al on The Weather Channel today. During a "Local on the 8s" forecast break, they played "9 to 5" from 9 to 5: The Musical --which, of course, starred "our" Allison Janney. I think I even heard her sing a few solo lines in what little they played of the song. YKYWTMWW When: You FINALLY notice (after watching this a zillion times before)--in the...

And is it really that simple? I would assume that once a charter has voted to let you go nomad, there would need to be another vote to let you come back. Strangely enough, I didnt think that was Opie reading the manuscript on the roof in the previews for next weekI thought it was Chibbs. Can anyone confirm? I'm sure in such a democratic organization that would be the usual procedure but in light of the Gemma reveal and what has...

Everwood - TWoP Forums

I recorded Everwood so I own the complete series on DVD. Recently went back and re-watched and it is interesting how you see things differently a few years after it was all over. I was one who disliked Jake intensely during the show's original run, yet going back and re-watching, I didn't dislike him as much. I think originally, I was one of the hardcore fans who badly wanted to see a Nina/Andy pairing and my dislike of Jake...

Opie's hair is terrible, and so is Jax's. At least we see Jax in the shower - it just appears that his shampoo doesn't work. Or it could be a problem of their hairs. I mean ... I shower mine every day and if for any reason I fail to shower them one day and my mother came to pick me on her vespa I can assure you that any ride longer than ten minutes makes a mess of my hairs. Also they grease really easily (and I've yet to...

I really don't understand the whole Jimmy O situation. So he exiled Chibs from the IRA, 'stole' his wife and daughter, and yet the Sons do business with him? It just seems like a strange situation----why did he 'exile' Chibs rather than kill him? Why would Chibs facilitate the whole IRA connection if he's exiled from the IRA and has a personal grudge against the leader? Either there's something else in the...

One Tree Hill: Helping The Chad...

I'm curious about what TheChad did on Dawson's Creek to earn Busy Phillips' ever-lasting disdain/rancor. I mean. . .let's face it. It's young Hollywood where morals are loose and behavior often very questionable. I'm sure Busy Phillips witnessed PLENTY of objectionable behavior as an actress so the fact that she still singles out TheChad years later. . . . From the comments in the Zap2It article (as well as the...

I listened to half the commentary for Episode 20 yesterday (didn't have time finish it), but even in that short bit, I was impressed at how good the commentary was. It's really interesting to learn that Andy was supposed to perform an abortion in the pilot. I'm glad the network went against that. Still, this episode proved to be one of the best episodes ever (and looking online today, ...

Is this show officially canceled? The worst thing that could happen from now on, is that the Schwann is going to serve us up yet another " Jump the shark" cliffhanger ending.

wish TPTB would stop using ER to showcase their political views. I call BS on the translator -- without getting into a debate on the Iraq war issue -- why is it always big bad Uncle Sam and everyone else is the victim? That cry could have been for all the poor innocents at the WTC on 9/11. Sorry, I'm a New Yorker and still carry a huge grudge. Stanley Tucci? meh. Neela getting trampled? oh ...

I looked for a thread too and couldn't find one. I just watched both episodes over the weekend and I'm loving it. Cassie is probably my favourite so far, and I like Chris and Sid too. And woah, the About a Boy kid sure grew up. Does anyone know how many episodes there'll be?

Love the title of the thread. It's exactly what I was thinking. I went into this one blind, not even knowing where it would air, but immediately guessed it was a TNT show. It definitely has their stamp. It reminded me a bit of Smith too with more of the tone of Hustle. I'm afraid the fun heist stuff won't mesh very well with the dead kid story, those were the only parts that didn't really ...

My read was that he got it, but he just doesn't believe that stuff about working hard and earning your rewards. I'm not sure how intentional it was, but there were enough flashes of vulnerability and even fear/horror of poverty to make me wonder if Neal has gone through some hardships in life beyond just the wine bottle filled with cheap wine and so his antics are kind of the equivalent ...

Among the new shows they are trying to replace with Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money, Castle is the only show I'm willing to give a chance. Maybe because of the unconventional crime solving style, akin to Pushing Daisies. I've only seen Nathan Fillon in "Desperate Housewives" as Adam Mayfair for only one season. As for Stana, she's in "Heroes" as Hana Gitelman for only one ...

I've had a hard time watching cop shows since The Wire but the cast list is interesting and I loved Third Watch too so I'll check it out. And Benjamin McKenzie is all kinds of Yum.
