Geeni I thought killing an animal was a crime? At least in some states. If it's by accident, though, I think it's okay. Deliberately, yes, it's a crime. I alternated between loving Brian suffering for his general assiness and feeling sorry for him in tonight's episode, but ultimately was back to disliking him with his hypocritical moment right at the end of the episode. Even Peter and Lois wanted to eat Brian? Wow. Both...

I don't know what it is but my heart fills with joy when Gonzo and the chickens tilt their heads back and forth during the "Cuz' I'm easy come, easy go/Little high, little low" part! This post has been edited by Limbonaut : Today @ 3:51 pm.

Actually, the Fox series did a two-part version of "Age of Apocalypse" back in the day. What I don't get is that if Xavier is, say, twenty years in the future, why does Cyclops still look relatively young? I don't question him selling out . . . he is a bit of a douche.

As I recall, we learn during the big reveal that Xanatos had known for some time, possibly even before the show started. So given Greg Weissman's confirmation that Owen first introduced Xanatos and Demona, it's easy to fanwank that he shared that tidbit at some point.

I don't doubt it a bit. I disagree, especially since Zaraki is not fighting in Fake Karakura Town.

It's an afterlife populated mostly by feral souls who prey on each other, like a habitat full of wild animals, with the strongest souls evolving to near-human sentience and superpowers. Sounds kinda like eternal torment to me! look at Nel and her entourage, for instance. I thought they were kidnapped and held there the way Orihime was. Bleach's concept of the afterlife strikes me as what most non-religious people in Japan...

Cheese E. Charlie's! I wonder who pulled that out of the recesses of their memory. I loved this episode. It's kind of freaking me out - I was so sure this show was going to be terrible, but I'm really enjoying it. I love Cleveland Junior's way of speaking - he's slow and his voice is really high-pitched, but he also can speak really eloquently. I'm not sure why I find it so hilarious, but I do. I still...

Was this the first time Cheese E. Charlie's has been used since Family Guy's pilot? Talk about from out of the moth balls.

Tim and Arianna roaring -- like, literally roaring -- while having sex? So funny. Yet so weird. I thought that scene was made better by two things: 1) Not only did they have sex, complete with bear roars, it was on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial 2) I did not know until just now that Arianna was voiced by Arianna Huffington. I knew that voice seemed familiar. That was great.

99% of the people in Japan are nominally Buddhist/Shinto. They are completely intertwined in a rather singular fashion but since Shinto doesn't concern itself with concepts of afterlives and the condition of souls, ceremonies such as weddings and funerals are Buddhist. Or secular. The majority of the people in the world are in fact NON-Christian.

I know I'll sound annoying with this comment but just hear me out: I'm completely fine with that logic of bashing Meg -- because she's not doing anything wrong, yet get picked on. But the concern I have is the damn repetitiveness of it. Do it sparingly through between 5 eps seems reasonable to me rather than consecutive Meg jokes in one single ep (which is the trend lately). Yeah it's ...

Haven't gotten around to checking out X-Men Evolution yet and am not sure it's a priority as far as cartoon rentals/purchases go, but some of you guys think it was worthwhile ? While it starts out as a middling cartoon--the first season is largerly missable, as is a large part of the second-- Evolution eventually takes a turn into the awesome. The arc that ends the second season and ...

After not having seen an episode of this show for years, I rented the DVDs a while back (and downloaded the second half of the second season, which isn't out on DVD). It's really an awesome show, and amazingly gutsy for an American cartoon show. Some of the episodes fall a little short, but overall it's great. I remember when I watched it premiere in 1994 and that tiny trickle of blood on ...

Curious...does "Ichimaru" translate to "smug motherfucker"? Wait, wait...I know "ichi" means "one"...so..."number one motherfucker"? Really, even if he didn't kill the guy, I'd be coming at him with my sword because it would feel so good to do that. "Hanging Chad"? Way to be current, dubber guys! It's fun to see the big fella because he's just so calm in dispatching people. Guy tries to stab him...

I have a request in at the library for the book. I bought the book on Amazon and actually just finished it earlier today. Maybe it's just because I saw the series first, but I think the animated adaptation surpasses the original book. Preliminary research makes it sound like a Japanese version of Xena; how accurate is that comparison? Uh... not really. I didn't watch Xena , ...

If you're saying that the uppity couple were both Muppets, it could be one of the "At the Dance " sketches. The most likely Muppets are George and Mildred; At the Dance was in every show of the first season, then became less and less regular.

I love the way th show takes the Dysfunctional [is that spelt right?] American Family idea that has been used so many times and adds the whole FBI thing. I love the way that Stan is kind of subtly-stupid, not really obvious like Homer Simpson or anything, but just stuff like that George Clooney thing on the plane that Skillz said. Also I like that the chracters feel more human than on all the ...

It looks like it could get intresting. Hopefully it's better than the usual Zoey 101 , Unfabulous , Just Jordan garbage Nickelodeon's been spewing recently. I miss the good old days of Nickelodeon.

That was the first Venture Bros episode I watched, but certainly not the last, thanks to the Orange County Liberation Front, which was the funniest thing ever to me the first time I saw it.
