For the record, I don't get insulted that easily. But, this episode insulted me. I realize that Ted's memory was exaggerated and Barney and Robin didn't really look like that. But, as I said, this is what WE see. You want to get the same point across without devolving into insulting, sitcomy humor (this was handled with even less class than fat Monica was handled on Friends)? Barney wearing jeans, sweatpants, T-shirts, baseball...

The funnier the storyteller thinks the event was the more s/he is going to exaggerate. So you...

I think it's too soon to pass a verdict yet, we've only got to the first innings of the game. So far from what I saw Season 5 has been hit or miss, two episodes I reviewed of the season I think are worth checking out. But I do feel there is still a chance and hope the season will shape up, and I hope the end result will blow me away. One of the things I would like to see is a bit more of Ted and more clues to the mom's identity...

If Robin and Barney don't break up soon, we'll lose Barney forever. And then the show itself. They're jumping the shark at the moment.

It was a funny episode, and there was nothing wrong with the fat suit. It wasn't making fun of fat people, the humour is found in future Ted's exaggeration. It was clever.

I think the problem this show ran into is that it's lacking in the area which originally drew me in: Joke continuity. Season one and two both had recurring jokes all throughout them. Even season three had some. The tramp stamp removal episode where Ted mentions liking the doctor, and then episodes/situations later involving said doctor, is a good example. Those things really pulled me in during the first two seasons. I really miss the...

I don't see what the big deal is. Barney is still the same Barney he's just not womanizing anymore. He still has his crazy theories and advice. Watching him adjust to being with only one woman is hilarious. The scene where he instinctively got up and tried to sneak out of the window was gold. The thing that people need to realize and accept is that this show is all about growing up. No one is going to remain exactly the same for 5...

Ask me a year ago, I would have said that I absolutely loved the idea of Barney and Robin together. They were pretty similiar. Didn't want a traditional relationship. Just wanted to bro it up. Now, I would like the show to back off Barney and Robin if the writers can't remember how their characters are supposed to be like. I do think Barney is a needy person, but he hides that underneath his ...

Of course, Neil Patrick Harris was Doogie Howser. And Alyson Hannigan was Willow. But, I'm watching an episode of "Batman: The Brave and Bold" just simply because NPH does the voice of the Music Meister. And between this and "Dr. Horrible," I think he should sing everything he does. I know a little bit of Jason Segal's filmography. Has anyone seen Cobie Smulders or Josh Radnor in anything ...
