Augusten Burrows - Running with Scissors. Hilarious memoir of what was a twisted childhood. It can be a bit full on in parts - he has a love affair with a 33yr old man, his mother is mentally ill, his father left him etc etc. I watched the movie after reading the book, but so much is left out, alot of the hilarious scenes are left out of the movie - so if anyone enjoyed the film read the book (books are always better), so entertaining.

I got the book for Christmas and had such trouble getting into it. I don't like how he defaces the Oz stories. But from what I recall that big famous movie isn't even that much in relation to the original books, and I haven't really read them so I can't verify this for sure.

A bit of a surprise for you all, I've whipped up the Breakdown for 2000, and I think I've fleshed it out enough, so I'm giving it to you a little earlier than planned. 'Battlefield' is probably in my top 5 songs of 2009, it's incredible.
Meanwhile, the second single, 'S.O.S. ( Let the Music Play)' is quite underwhelming atm.
