In basic spec yes, but basic spec R32's are impossible to shift in the future - by the time you've added leather etc you are touching £20k, which is about the going rate for unregistered one's at the mo due to dealers trying to clear stock for the MKVI that's due soon.

a3 tdi re-map
Published (2008-11-16 18:51:00)
Is that something your company car scheme allows? The main reason I opted out back in '01 was because no mods were allowed, and of course doing them under the radar means you're uninsured and I didn't fancy the risk of losing my job and getting points etc.!

Clive What's the warranty situation when it's remapped? Do BMW take a reasonable approach (i.e. its not affected unless they believe fault could be caused etc by the remap?) Damian

E46 M3 cab

J55TTC wrote: I looked into this in depth about a year or so ago. A couple of test drives and lots of umm'ing and ahh'ing and for some reason I could never bring myself to swap. Jaayde on here was in a similar position at the time also. Costs aside, the M3 is a very refined car and the sound it makes is mind blowing but once inside it just didnt feel that special. At the time I also looked at a carrera S and a 4S (circa 2002 models)...

Kind of off-topic a bit here, but my wife got an email from a VW dealer that she used previously. The dealer is selling brand new 58 plate R32s for an OTR price of £19,995

I've a mate in work who's picking up his '03 E46 M3 cab tonight. It's a lovely car - slate grey with a factory hard top. I'm looking forward to having a good look over it tomorrow. I have to say I'm now very tempted to follow suit and sell the TT. I hope to get a drive tomorrow - was wondering how many people have already made this move? Is it worth it with the extra costs?

iv just got a anew a3 sportback as my new company car, which i must say im very impressed with. its the 1.9 tdi though rather than the 2.0. iv spoken to a few tuners and it can be remapped easy enough, and on paper gives around a 40% hike in power and torque! my question is has anyone on here either got or had the same car and had it remapped? if so i was just wondering if you were impressed ...

Was messing about on the Audi configurator and I specced up the Q7 V12 I wacked every extra on available and it would cost £116,260.00 !! basic cost of the Q7 V12 is £95,265.00 btw A fully loaded R8 was cheaper £113,480.00 !! (ok only marginally) I can't quite believe you could actually spend that sort of money on a Q7! anyway might have been posted before and all that but thought it was ...
