There's a huge difference between an 01 4runner and a 95 but if they're anything similar, you'll need a torch to heat the metal til the rubber melts and will pretty much just pour out of the metal housing. Do like I wish i would have and buy the bushings in the metal casing already. not really sure what this "universal" joint is you speak of, but best of luck.

So one of my buddies works at Autozone and he was able to hook me up with some lights for the truck! I got 4 lights total...1 in the back one in the middle and 1 in front of each front tire! They are nice and bright and ready for any night run action!! (Can't wait till Wednesday nights Calico run). Pic of the new 1" MC that we installed on Saturday! Denny got the same one for his 4Runner! I haven't wired up the little brake...

Weird Dome Light problem...

You probably already did, but check to see if the dome light you are referring to is tapped into any a full time hot wire. I added the map-light rearview mirror to my truck, and tapped into the main dome light for power. Now both of them operate independently, but both can come on when I open the door (when set to "door"). If that makes any sense. In other words... trace the offending dome light back to the source, and see...

I am pretty sure the diffs between the 22r and 22re is the 22re is fuel injected. I think either one would be okay. But they stopped making the non efi 22r in 1984? Also I would get the 5sp. Good luck

Dual boxes = dual transfercases ok gotcha umm the front case is a transfer case most people use the stock ones, rear case is a transfer case out of another vehicle most people put 4.7 gears in the rear t-case. Two stock (or modified with 4.7's or whatever) transfer cases and an adaptor Searching would have been easier

You have to remove the lower nut on the bottom of the spindle and then with a mallet or deadblow hammer hit the axle to free it from the spindle. Once you have that done...you need a pry bar to pop the axle loose from the diff you will have to give it a few good jerks with wht pry bar as just applying pressure will not pop it out of place! I hope that makes sense...I am pretty sure there are ...
