Ben... you've completely missed the conversation and lots of chat about the start of my SAS project lol. It's getting swapped, I have a line on a D44 right now to start building. However, I'm not going to miss AZ rocks. So if it means I take spare parts with me and break a bunch, oh well. At least I'm having fun. On the counter note, i may NOT break daily. Maybe i'll get lucky and only break once or twice. In which...

Stuff's still open around IS, but it's all pretty snowy/icy. Most of the good stuff is on North facing slopes. You can get a ways up bill moore, but the shady spots are still holding snow. I was up there a few days ago looking for a place to shoot. I would recommend chains and/or good recovery gear. I can't go as I'll be working. have fun!

That trail can be ran year round. It's nice to be able to run it in December! I'm 40 minutes away, plan it and I'll let you know if I can make it. This weekend is out, next weekend is out, and the 2nd weekend of Oct. is out (trying to make it out on some trails that will soon be too snowy) for me.

Fins and things, poison spider up and back (Don't do the gold bar rim loop) check trails and descriptions http://www.traildamage.com/ or http://www.rr4w.com/pageview.aspx?id=20715 Also when you get there go to the visitors center and get the Moab trail book by Charles wells. And also either the national geographic maps of moab (North and South) or the East and West ones of Trails West....

I was thinking about this as well. On the slim chance that my truck is back together and driveable, I might be interested in something close by.

i can vouch for the trail conditions. deep soft snow. but the point where we turned around i had my headlights buried in the snow. i was still making forward progress a few truck lengths or so at a time however. it would be nice to be able to bash this enough to keep it open this winter for good times!

Thinking about doing a stocker run next sat for my bday. Was thinking something like Bunce School or Sevenmile. Anyone interested? So far me in the stock ex, and maybe a guy in a lifted 3rd gen ex, and two jeeps from work. Any other suggestions for trails? I know there is already a run for this day but, maybe some people will be looking for something easier. Also where could i go to ...
