O.o that is quite the confusing jumble... So, the question is... what causes this glitch? The staircase, as I said before, really does fit the "crushed" theory, as the steps you've shown can cause SHAS rather easily... But a corner of a rectangular room with a few barrels in it doesn't seem like it would cause this problem... though I really can't be sure. Is it possible that all the time I was crouching amid...

They are being commanded. They speak the command to themselves as the command is pressed into their minds, as if the commanding signal controls their speech. Notice that they don't speak Mechanist/Hammerite, either.

Hello, I discovered autohotkey through this thread
But did not like the need of installation and messy batch-filing. So I made my own
This is a very simple program.
It binds:
Alt+Num Del to kill thief.exe
mouse scroll wheel up to the Page Up Key
mouse scroll wheel down to the Page Down Key
Mouse Forward Button to the ] key
Mouse Back Button to the [ key

Congratulations!
...And thank you.
Now we just need someone to make FMs that tap the potential of multiplayer, as _ well as creating a virtual "lab" to study the problems.

Fog is completely broken in Vista, despite DDFix and all that. I'm in the same boat and hope someone figures out a way to fix it soon.

There are so many that make me laugh, but the best ones for me are when you catch guards by surprise.
Just the short ones like "What the?!?!" and "What the hell??" and even "Where'd you come from??" - the inflection in their voices when you pop out of nowhere are hilarious.

T2 runs for me with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I've even got in-game videos, which I can't ever remember seeing with Vista because you had to purchase the IV5 codec that was removed from the OS - I assume it has been licensed for W7 (purely a guess).
One BIG thing to note, though, is that because I'm looking into the fog issue I'm using my own build of Timeslip's ddfix dll. My dll ...

Hmm. I found it. A search for "graphics acceleration in windows 2003"revealed the solution: Go to the troubleshoot tab and turn acceleration to"Full". And now I'm " ready to play", with the Microsoft drivers no less.

mix of 2 and 3,I would say.as result,t3 has been developed for both pc and xbox at the same time, and that can never be a good thing,as it always fu*ks up the game for pc players in the process, more or less (thief3 being the "less", deus ex2 being the "more" ),as the game must be made to fit the lower standard (the console).the proper process would be creating the game normally for ...

I voted 8 "Excellent".
Thief 2 boasted quite an improved engine, sprawling and detailed levels, and great gameplay, but the story wasn't quite as good as TDP, and some levels lacked polish, and some were quite tedious.

All 3 Thief games are running fine for me on a Vista 32 Home premium lappy. The only issue I have is some lag when acessing the menu/map/objectives while ingame. It looks like it is miimizing to the desktop and then quickly maximising, I can see the desktop and any open windows, etc and they look like they are at the same res as Thief. It isnt a major problem, just disruptive to ...

But I must warn you, it's rather disturbing. . .probably because it's drawn
so cartoony-like. . and some might question it's "worksafe-ness" . . .
The sequel. .

sure myself. . .
And finally, the picture I've been working on ALL FREAKING WEEKEND. .
A non-cartoony portrait of Zaya. (Be gentle. It's my very first fully...
