I prefer ghosting and leaving zero evidence (re-closing/re-locking doors, replacing stolen keys, etc).

It really is useless to an experienced player. I think most of us only use the blackjack, rope and (occasionally) water arrows now.

Hmmm. Sounds very much like the problem is still yours.
I'll bet you don't care to remember that a hundred threads were started (not "25,000 posts" to sift through, lol) asking if there would be another Thief game, instead of searches made to find the most current answer of the day. Thinking you were the only one who has asked such an obvious question is also silly, and you ...

I love problem solving when it comes to climbing and discovering secrets.
My earliest memory when looking at a map of the world was the sinking feeling of realising that there was no continent left unexplored. When I play Thief I love feeling lost, and as such I find the most confusing levels which don't revolve around a central area are my favourite.

I keep hoping some taffers would "guild" up and have a nice ShadowMeet. I know it's happened on a very small scale, and usually for reasons other than to convene over Thief , plumsies, cheese, and ale. Shouldn't this thread get a mention in the Fan Missions forum?

Hopefully the current EM team will hold to the concept.
Great questions.
Good work.

If you don't like to explore then Thief is not the game for you. It's simple.

There are so many that make me laugh, but the best ones for me are when you catch guards by surprise.
Just the short ones like "What the?!?!" and "What the hell??" and even "Where'd you come from??" - the inflection in their voices when you pop out of nowhere are hilarious.
