So I am really hoping that the mixture of Metformin and Femara is the winning mixture and I can O again this cycle. I'm meeting with my RE at the end of the month if this cycle I don't respond to Clomid. I'm not sure my Dr will even prescribe the Femara, but I was wondering which would be better to go with next- a couple cycles of Femara or straight to the injectables? I will be telling my Dr that I DO NOT want to do another cycle of Clomid. I think they go with Gonal-F for the injectable? I'm not really ...

I've been curious to know exactly what estradiol does. I took injectibles this cycle, and after my 4th ultrasound/bloodwork they said that my estradiol had lowered (I don't know what number it was at), but it was possible that I would ovulate. They decided not to do the IUI due to this. They told us to go ahead and bd just in case. Would low estradiol levels mean that I wouldn't ovulate??

Quick update: I just went in this morning for my day 12 ultrasound and blood work. So this time, my issues are completely reversed. The lining looks great at over 10mm, but there are no viable follicles over 12 mm. Ugh, ugh, ugh! I'm waiting for the doc to call me back now with a plan of action. It appears that I didn't respond at ALL to Clomid this cycle. Very weird bc last month I had a 20mm ...

So last month I took Clomid 50 mgs on days 3-7, and had a 1.1 cm follicle around cd 14; this time I took 100mgs 3-7 and wound up with 3 follicles under 9mm. What is going on here? My lining on the other hand is great at 1.1cm XD...So the bed is made, I just need an egg to rest in it! I go in for another U/s on the 7th, but the nurse isn't hopeful as she says if we don't see anything around ...

There is a sticky at the top for different meds used. My protocol was 5 amps menopur, lupron, HCG, and progesterone in oil after retrieval. My meds were like $3,000.00 per cycle.
