DS had 15 ear infections in 7 months. Insanity.
We had Ethan's scheduled within a couple weeks of seeing the doctor but it got delayed because he had another surgery. They also didn't want to do it within 2 weeks of getting vaccinations.

I too am completely confused about this whole shot!
Aidan did get his regular flu shot from his dr. I did not want to get the swine flu vaccine for myself only because it is still do new, they don't know enough about it and what side effects the shot can cause years later. Sometimes I wonder where they get this stuff. Addie is almost 14 months and still only says a few words. However...I can kind of understand what they may mean. Even if they aren't able to communicate that they are learning things, they are still picking them up. There are plenty of things that I've never actively tried to teach Addie and she learned. We won't have a whole lot of money, so I'm not sure. I was thinking it would be nice to get her a toybox, but that doesn't seem very fun. She really doesn't need anymore toys...we don't have room for them.
I have a feeling my dad will be getting her a
playhouse type thing. He said he wanted to get that for her for her birthday but he didn't think she was old enough or would be interested.

I was down to just nursing to sleep and through the night. I got to the
point that I just did not want to continue and I also thought she needs to
learn to go to sleep without eating, so about 5 AM last Friday was the last
time I nursed her. I was planning on going until she was ready to stop, but
I think she would have
gone forever if I kept offering. She seems fine with
a bottle instead for now...
