It depends on how MUCH snow. Here in Idaho it snows a lot. A whole lot. I guarantee we'll have a white Christmas, it's just a matter of how much white and if that white is driveable. As a kid growing up in PA though, I always prayed for it to snow on Christmas. It symbolizes purity and childhood dreams for me. I see no reason for not wanting it

LOL, even the deepest of deepest snow would never make it so we're snowbound. I have seen 4 - 5 foot snow drifts and while schools might close for the day, the plows are hard at work and people can drive once the roads are cleared. We have good snow driving skills up here.

I love the movie White Christmas. I also love snow-themed Christmas decorations, ornaments, Christmas cards, and music! It's part of the season for me, even if I live in an area where Christmas Day is held in shorts occasionally! My parents laugh at my brother and I for romanticizing about snow on Christmas, as they grew up in Northern New Jersey and then lived in Detroit, MI for awhile. They know all the work involved in a snowy climate....

The nurse today at the doctor's office asked Ethan if he was good enough to get Santa to bring him presents. Gee how many assumptions were in that one question. I work a motel, and I'm not Christian. Our boss is Indian, so she doesn't force us to say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas. But when a guest tells me "Merry Christmas", I feel very put on the spot and I almost feel like I'm forced to return it. Though generally I just smile and say "you too!" or "have a good one." Ideally it would snow late morning, once we were all at my moms and the whole family could get snowed in together for like two days. I think that would be awesome. But I don't want a few inches that makes driving harder on me. I want a lot where I CAN NOT drive in it at all.
