I am not sure if being sick has anything to do with your cm but I do know that being dehydrated affects it. It makes your cm thicker and not as stretchy? I guess is the word, lol. Drink plenty of water, and I even read online that taking robitussin or mucinex during your cycle helps. Sounds crazy but it makes sense if you read about it... Good luck to ya!
