A few years ago I paid $630 NIB for my Kimber Custom II, and it is the best gun I have ever bought. If I had to replace it, I would look hard at an STI Spartan.

Both are excellent but 9mm is cheaper and almost as effective with a high quality load. I vote G19 (and to back up my statement, I have one!).

I agree with Novalty's recommendations. AFA recommending a carry piece, all anyone can tell you is what works for them. Many will tell you it's almost impossible to carry a full-size. I carry a five-inch with a magwell. May not work for you though. I will say comfort should be about the last thing considered. As Clint Smith says, "A gun should be comforting, not comfortable."
